Scattered Pines, Tone River, No. 71 from One Hundred Famous Views of Edo www.brooklynmuseum.org/opencollecti…
This scene shows a fisherman casting his net, with lead weights around the edge, into the Tone River.  The location depicted was known for its carp and the wind twisted pine trees mentioned in the title appear on the shore to the left.  In Hiroshige's day, "Tone River" referred to what is now the Edogawa River.  It has been suggested that the "Barabaramatsu" in the title referred to more than one place, perhaps various groups of scattered pines along the riverbanks in this region.

Haniwa Figure of a Woman www.brooklynmuseum.org/opencollecti…
Three-quarter length standing figure of a priestess, who would have presided over the funeral ceremonies of a Yamato chieftain. She wears a coat-like robe closed diagonally across the chest and having a flaring lower edge. She has a string of beads around her neck and a flat, crescent-shaped headdress. 
Haniwa  were placed around  and on the top of a kofun (burial mound) for which the period is named. Kofun mounds have been located throughout Japan, from the end of the 3rd century to late 5th-6th century A.D., demonstrating the long duration of the practice. The large mounds are associated with high ranking leaders.
Material: Buff earthenware with traces of red iron-oxide pigment on the lower robe, neck, cheeks, eyebrows, and forehead.

Epitaph plaque with 13 lines of text on the "recto" and 6 lines of text on the "verso."
From a set of eight plaques, glazed on all four sides, with text on one face and a number on one edge.  The epitaph describes the career and contributions of Kim Gyehui (1526-1582), who served as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and was posthumously awarded the rank of Prime Minister.  Epitaph plaques (chi'suk in Korean) served as memorials for the individuals with whom they were buried.  They were occasionally disinterred and replaced with revised versions. The majority of these plaques were written in underglaze cobalt blue, but this group is written in underglaze iron red. The text is in Korean, written in Chinese characters.
