This is your occasional reminder that generative "AI" in particular could have been developed on public domain materials and/or licensed and compensated works but the major players intentionally, methodically and systemically chose to steal labor from working creative folks instead

First Dodger postseason game of the year!! No nervousness what so ever.

Teoscar Hernandez, of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who is notoriously a streaky hitter at both the worst and best times humanly possible, as the Sun.

1) This isn't about generating games or assets with AI, it's just about using automation tools for some processes like bug testing which isn't inherently bad 2) IGN should be embarrassed for this headline. It doesn't say "AI generation" as in generative AI, it's 世代, "generation" as in "time period"

Hopefully they'll have him for the postseason roster and this is just cause they cant bother to demote Freeland or Call for w/e reason.

Dodgers will do anything to keep Alex MFer Call on the roster. When they have like 9 OF prospects and Alek Thomas.

The "Mr Burns is too sick to die" meme of all the diseases not being able to fit indoor a door, except the door is Alex Call of the Los Angeles Dodgers and several prospects as the diseases

100%. also makes this easier to sell off in possible parts (buy the CoD/Halo/Blizzard brands!)

If JDP blows up in the next week while DHing, the amount of talk about having him or Shohei DH in the postseason is going to be so insufferable

Ugh. Yeah seeing some industry folks on here openly talking and placing doubt into the every detail. It's really sad. This shit just fuels the fire of public descent so many folks are fighting against.

Never been more embarrassed for some folks who work in this industry than today.

On Earth 2, we can't believe how good the new HBO Animorphs show looks. "They nailed the morphing," people enthuse. The nonbinary actor playing Ax's human morph is cutting it up on the Las Culturistas podcast. The actress playing Rachel has handcuffed herself to a data center

When you say you're "going to take your health seriously" and then follow it up with "i asked chatgpt where this place gets it produce and I can't" "This place" meaning a random food stall in an airport.

Bart Simpson "Say the Line, Bart" meme bit today the part of Bart is played by Mark Walter, current owner of the Dodgers and most recent owner of the Lakers, says he needs Liquidity

I dont think we talk enough about the absolute, boot on the throat chokehold the opening of FFX-2 does to remind you why that game was so appealing after the cliffhanger ending of FFX. That opening bumper at the beginning with that music. Only for the game to be this summer beach read of a game

Really digging into Final Fantasy X for the first time in a long time and these pre-rendered cutscenes really hold up. The cinematography in particular is on another level to even some more modern games. I also think people forget how much of a treat these were. They were a reward for players
