I guess I'm thinking like standing up for himself more? Maybe some retrospection to figure out why he's treated the way he is, any issues he may have, and what he can to fix all of that? In hopes of being a suitable father figure and better support for Millie?

Lilith's character is so intriguing because of how little we actually know about her; her personality, her motivations. As of right now, it really seems like they could literally do anything with her character and I hope they don't fumble it.
