In a vacuum it's a perfectly fine button layout, you just need to design the game around it. Of course, that was a bit of a problem when the other two systems at the time used the traditional diamond layout.

In light of the TikTok ban- very frustrating how dire the state of social media is right now. Twitter's now full of Nazis, and Meta's apps seem to be turning in the same direction. As a game dev who uses social media to drive traffic to my games, I feel like my options are drying up fast.

So, I've identified the bug that makes the Javatari emulator (as featured on my site) run slowly on Firefox. As it turns out, my monitor's refresh rate is the culprit. Strangely, at higher refresh rates, the games actually run more slowly.
