I think lightning is probably the most satisfying mechanic to build towards rn. Late game builds in particular can get very juicy and chaotic. (don't mind the infinite money I am simply a cheating scumbag) #indiedev #solodev #SteamNextFest #roguelike #matchinbits #unity

This isn't really "new" but I don't think I've shown it off much before. Each augment now has an upgraded version which in most cases just makes them twice as effective. I think it turned out pretty well and adds more spice (rng) to your build. #unity #indiedev #SteamNextFest #roguelike #solodev

Trying out a different layout for the shop, 6 items as opposed to the previous 3 will need to be balanced but oh well that can wait until i got a build finished enough for play testers. Added bombs as the first consumable items, they deal damage to an area of bits without using your turn if you need just a little more damage to get out of a tricky situation. #indiedev #solodev #unity #SteamNextFest #roguelike

Added a shield bits and a shield system for the player to reduce damage inspired by Slay the Spire because STS is goated. A fun side effect of applying damage reduction to an object on the grid is that it directly scales with your aoe damage. #indiedev #SteamNextFest #roguelike #unity #gamedev
