What can I do? Do I tell them? I'm more or less aware of the potential cost, it's certainly not cheap for stuff that size. And now my name's attached to obviously shoddy work. So I checked I'd sent the correct files (I did) and tried to forget about it.

I obviously have to spot check everything and maybe 3/10 are the wrong texts. It was just so deflating.

I know my market :) Seriously, since I'm from the land of vodka, we traditionally infuse shitloads of stuff in vodka, from spicy to fruity. Because let's be clear about one thing: if you're savouring the taste of pure vodka, erm, no you're not. Which why it's best kept in the freezer, etc.

The nightmare continues...
The Nightmare by Henry Fusili. It shows a woman with her arms thrown below her, in deep sleep as she undergoes a nightmare as an almost hidden horse (the "night-mare") looks on as a demonic and ape-like incubus crouches on her chest.Fabian, a giant white poodle, standing on my chest with his hind legs while looking back down at me.

Alex Wilson:
But it can also be acknowledgment that immigration from culturally similar and economically developed countries imposes different costs to immigration from culturally distant and less developed countries.

I think that's something we need to be honest about in any discussion about immigration

Don't do the "debate me bro" bullshit before I've had enough coffee. Again, to pander to your evident comprehension issues, if you set up a dichotomy between rest-of-the-world immigration / EU immigration, the only sensible way of understanding it is within a "white"/"non-white" context.

michael blurbflyski @blurbfly.bsky.social · 01/10/2026
Kindly, you either have the reading comprehension of a newt, or are arguing in bad faith. You think there are large "non-white" populations in Eastern Europe? Not that I would mind if there were, but there simply aren't.
"But what we had was a more revolving-door form of migration, where people would come here in their younger years. Many people did from Eastern Europe.
"They'd maybe spend a few years here in their mid to late 20s, and then go home and start a family, and that was a very common form of immigration."

Exactly, I met most of my friends through music at the time. Either in record shops, at gigs, or in school because we recognised each other by our plastic record shop bags. "Ah, weirdo, ok". And with some, we're still friends 40 years later, even though I've moved multiple times since.

I'd choose the easier route of setting up a print-on-demand web shop, which takes only 3 clicks (or around 2-5 years at current projections based on historical data). I'll let you know, innit.
