Sorry, It's back online. The app is hosted with a free account and it gets disabled after a certain time automatically if I don't manually enable it again... Previously it was several months, now I have to do it each month before they disable it 😕

Okay, I like Blue Threads and its ability to handle Essay long threads. Useful for journalism, complex topics etc interface is bare but easy to navigate. Simply copy and paste your diatribe in one window and it died the rest. @bluethread.bsky.social

It seems like bluethread is unavailable at the moment. It's out of my power unfortunately as the pythonanywhere website (which hosts it) does not work right now. I hope it will come back soon

The text of the thread is automatically saved in your browser when you type it, so you can use that as a kind of draft. It will be cleared when you send the thread. But you can't save several drafts.

But I think Blue Thread will remain useful thanks to its capacity to automatically cut a text into posts. Also, rearranging the whole thread before posting (by editing the text) is easier.

It has many advantages to what you can do with Blue Thread, because you can : - reply to someone with a thread -label the posts (NSFW pictures etc.) - add videos, gifs etc. And obviously you don't need to go to another website, it's simpler.

It's not perfect but in most cases I think it works quite well. I agree adding a way to cut manually at a certain place would be nice too, I'll try to add that feature. Thank you for trying Blue Thread and for giving your feedback!

Hi! The algorithm tries to fit in as much text in a post as possible, while at the same time cutting the sentences the least possible at the end of a post. So it will make a new post at the end of a sentence (after a punctuation mark : .?!) to avoid cutting the sentence.

Can you confirm me this : - When you add a picture in a post, the small x in the red circle displays normally ? - When you click on "ALT" to add an alt text, the x in the top right doesn't display normally ? I included screenshots of what it looks like on Windows + Firefox

I checked again and I found an error relative to the image size (file too large) in the 2nd post. It should be resized automatically but apparently it still exceeds the allowed size. Could you send it to me (uncompressed, via an external service) so that I can try to debug with the same image ?

I don't think there is a limit, I saw people post short stories with Bluethread and I think I tested with 100+ posts and it worked
