Although good animation isn't the crucial aspect of the media (the plot is, sadly), I don't think Cameron will ever realize that the Avatar films should improve on the characterization and less long plot, since the franchise would make a fuckton of money anyway, because of the animation. #nsfwartist

I think I often watch animated stories/shorts primarily for the aesthetic reasons. The way the characters look, the species of the characters are what drives me in, but if you focus on the aesthetic aspect too much, you don't think about the good and the bad of the plot itself. #nsfwartist

Just because you're an artist, doesn't mean you have to force yourself to write full-blown stories for your OCs, but if you're entering animation industry, things get A LOT more complicated, cuz having pretty characters isn't enough if the characterization and plot are very lackluster. #nsfwartist

Animation enthusiasts and the audience for someone's artwork (especially if that artwork is primarily the artist's OCs) are technically two completely different worlds, different audiences, different expectations, although animation enthusiasts can be artists too and give criticism. #nsfwartist

Ppl can give constructive criticism for the plot of a media. But, calling an amateur human-made short film, and an ANIMATED one at that, a ''clip slop for instagram OC edits'' is wild. Using vulgarisms for a review is immature, but calling the project ''a slop'' is taking it 2 far. #nsfwartist
