Like many students, BT is back to school! 📚 Last week, we returned to the Michael Paul Galvin Tower on IIT's Chicago campus to check on a few of our interactive installations. We loved getting to see this interactive donor story wall in action!

As the world continues to become more online, it's exciting to create spaces like these that mimic the physical museum experience and offer accessible opportunities to engage with the content. We can't wait to keep exploring! Visit "Opening Windows" now at openwindowsingsing.org

"Opening Windows," now live and online, uses web technology to share glimpses into the people, places and objects that have brought Sing Sing Prison to where it is today - a vast, complicated portrait of the American penal system. 12 stories brought right to their screen, wherever they are.

We sought to answer this question in our latest project with the Sing Sing Prison Museum - to build a virtual preview of what guests can expect from the physical museum, which is slated to open in the coming years.

How do you bring visitors to a place where they can engage and learn without having a physical space?

We've got a pretty purrrfect lineup of feline friends here at Blue Telescope. In honor of #NationalCatDay, can you name them all?

"I wanted people to feel like they are looking into the exhibit like a window. We chose to highlight the transparency of the stories through vibrant colors and double-color exposure techniques."

"A lot of the design inspiration and colors came from the surrounding natural environment that Sing Sing is situated on, as well as different printing techniques," said Patillo.

Design plays an integral role in the stories that we tell. When BT's Creative Designer, Reese Patillo, started to develop the look and feel of Sing Sing Prison Museum's Opening Windows exhibit, she knew she wanted to take her inspiration straight from the source:
