Book #55 is Lethal Tender, the 7th book in the Team Reaper series. This entry delivers all of the action that you'd expect, but with a larger degree of self reflection with one of the main characters. It humanizes him and gives the book an added degree of depth. #autumnofaction #reading #booksky

Book #54 is Thorn by Terrance Layhew. Its been a long time since I'd read a medieval swashbuckler. This was different, yet familiar enough that I'd give it a shot and I'm glad that I did. I recommend that if you're not usually into medieval swashbuckling adventure, give this a try! #autumnofaction

Book #52 is the 4th G.I. Joe/Transformers Energon Universe prequel, Destro. It's a well written tale that features Destro, Cobra Commander, Tomas & Xamot, as well as a new character codenamed, Chameleon. There's one surprise that is in line with the world as we know it, but it's good overall. #gijoe

Book #51 is The French Illusion by John Grisham. This is his attempt at the spy thriller & for me, it falls flat. Book #49 is Devil's Due by Andrew Warren. This is a Thomas Caine prequel that's now published with it's sequel, Cold Kill, as Hell & Ice. I'm following this book with Cold Kill, but if you're looking for Devil's Due, it's not available. But, this was an enjoyable and fast read! #autumnofaction

Book #46 is Quarry's Choice by Max Allan Collins. This is the 12th book in the series but the 2nd chronologically. There's enough crossing & doublecrossing in this book that I wasn't sure if anyone was legit. Quarry's smartass attitude lightened what could have been a dark tale. I liked it! #booksky
