I neglected to post here in January, but I've started a year-long project to feature on photo per month, and make that photo available as a limited print. January's entry features the Port of Saint John, and February's entry features a shot taken near the Midland Ice Caves.

Stacks of orange, magenta, red, and blue shipping containers lie in the foreground. Container cranes stand in the background. All under a white/overcast sky filled with seagulls.

A rider on a 1960's bombardier ski-doo rides across a snowy field, next to a signpost denoting "Gut Pile Road".

New series, live now. (My first on BlueSky!) Unlike my usual subjects, "Bloom" is a series focused on the small – the birds, bees, blossoms and butterflies which have made the process of working towards a pollinator-friendly yard incredibly rewarding. www.blueshackmedia.com/series/2025/...

Another joy of working towards a pollinator yard is getting to see visitors like this, stocking up before their long journey south! ------ #bloomseries #pollinatorgarden #fucklawns #photography #nature #butterfly#monarch

At this point in the season it's mostly the small, white asters still in bloom in our yard. This bee (and many like it) continue to visit regularly. ----- #bloomseries #photography #fucklawns #bee #bumblebee

Thinking I may start sharing more here as other platforms get worse and worse. --- Found this little snail crawling along the other day. Rewilding the front yard is getting to be a rewarding process. --- #snail #photography #fucklawns

A snail crawls over a wide blade of grass with water droplets. The out of focus background is green, with some grass visible. A small white flower is in the foreground (white aster).
