I got asked if my music is AI for a second time and I don't know what to do with that. Is this something all music people are dealing with these days or am I doing something wrong? Does my music sound like slop? 😭

A lot of songs in Rhythm Heaven Groove sound like Jamiroquai. This is a good thing

We said goodbye to our sweet Birdy yesterday. Unfortunately, she declined a lot quicker than we expected, and this was the most humane thing to do. Thank you so much to those who donated. We will leave the fundraiser open if anyone wishes to further help us cover costs during this difficult time.

I don't typically post things like this, but one of my cats is sick. The bills for her treatment are expensive so if anyone seeing this wants to chip in, that would be appreciated! But only if you have money to spare - if all you can do is share & repost, that would still help! gofund.me/869a12ead

Its also just refreshing when Nintendo takes a risk and does something a little unexpected aesthetically. Forgoing a smooth, sleek, traditionally "cool" look in favor of a bit of scuzziness - I respect it.

Many have pointed out the resemblance to the puppets from original game's promo material - but it also calls to mind the old British sci-fi puppet shows (eg: Thunderbirds) that the series took some inspiration from. That genre has an innate crustiness that I actually find quite fitting for Star Fox.

I have no horse in the race because I've never been much of a fan of Star Fox games, but I genuinely love the new designs of the characters. They're anthropomorphic animals, but not in a 'cool anime furry' kind of way, it feels more grounded somehow. I think it rules!

I composed the music for this new podcast all about gaming in the late 90s & early 2000s! The music takes inspiration from the Killers, Paramore, the Strokes, and other y2k-era rock music - plus some GameCube intro style arpeggios! 🎸🎶

My favourite song of the year 2025! Gorgeous song. and very "me" core, it just has a lot of specific things that I tend to enjoy in songs. The rest of the album is pretty great too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPz1...
