Toby Fox might be the internet's greatest troll tbh He's just a master at his craft, it's inspiring in a lot of ways

If you ever wanted to know what kind of person I am, I get really annoyed when people use memes wrong(specifically in ways that show they don't understand it, rather than in ways that are clearly riffing)

one thing you learn from making a lot of things is that the nitty gritty details, the millions of tiny invisible decisions, ARE the art. The "higher level ideas" are not nearly as important or interesting

This might be my finest work tbh I added extra garlic and ginger with the onions, and sprinkled in some chili flakes for a bit of an extra kick

I've started reading Medalist, and there's something about the character art the anime just didn't capture That balanced out by the actual skating sequences being absolutely stunning in the anime, far beyond what still manga can convey. Motion is a huge amplifier

Doing Vulkan stuff with my current sleep schedule that leaves me constantly tired is kinda exhausting lol

My mom brought home some pumpkin pie ice cream pie

Oh yeah my friend played the Castlevania demo on call last night and I gotta say, looks pretty rough for a "the save file carries over" style demo

I just found out that apparently in addition to the bloc Quebecois, there's apparently a faction of Alberta separatists This is fascinating to me because even moreso than with Quebec, I have to wonder what these people think would happen to them if they succeeded

This may just be me, but Saba's voice sounds a lot more natural? relaxed? than it was before

Every time I see people on some other social media platform try to dunk on bluesky, it just becomes immediately obvious they've never actually used the website even once, and just assume it's all trump 1 era caricatures of blue haired millennials getting mad at everything

I think that people really sleep on Mochi Au Lait as a mangaka duo tbh They've got sauce

It's very interesting that to a lot of people, believing in rehabilitation means that a person is entitled to keep a public platform as long as they say they're sowwy

I'm gonna be honest, if Ramparts of Ice doesn't turn things around soon I'm going to straight up drop it lol

C++ exceptions have always rubbed me the wrong way as a method of error handling tbh. I've managed to basically entirely avoid using them for *years* now in my personal projects, because things like std::expected, std::optional, and other methods have covered my error handling needs

After my bad experience trying to work with bgfx last year, I decided to give Diligent Engine another look, and came to the conclusion that I would probably also have a bad time with it lol Of course, this now leaves me in the really awkward position where learning Vulkan is my best bet...

The thing about web development is that html and css and (grudgingly, to an extent) JavaScript are actually a pretty great toolset that work really well together to create basically anything And then webdevs wrote like 40 layers on top of them for some fucking reason

Also just saw a clip of her dropping a fucking nuke on her genmates by pulling out 3 versions of "I love you", one for each of them Absolutely crazy work, she's so cool for that

Kyoko brought up onigiri and then translated it as rice ball Half the chat is people going "it's fine, we call it onigiri overseas too" and the other half is telling her it's actually called a jelly donut lmao

Up until now, anything there's a Statler and Waldorf bit online, there's some good stuff. Never before had I seen one be entirely composed of stinkers. Until just now when I saw a post on the hololive subreddit asking people what they'd say about their oshis

Also for all the cries of "queerbait" you see thrown at yuri anime(and anime that was never even pretending to be queer), this show is *far* closer to queerbait than any of them.

Sparks of Tomorrow was such a massive letdown of an anime.

My problem is that I love prose books, but find them to be much more of a time commitment because chapters are usually so long, and reading digitally is just a flat out worse experience than holding a physical volume in your hands

Okay Achichi Mela immediately covering a CPK song, Hyakuto Kyoko being a gamer fluent in English, I think this Gen is going to be really fun

Okay so I watched the trailer watch part ANN did, and now have a list of shows to watch this season. Tbh it's kinda dire, but I'm not going to complain because there's still a couple stuff that has me excited, and it gives me time to catch up on and rewatch some stuff List in descending order:
