I made the decision to stop purchasing anything I didn’t really need at the beginning of this year. Looking at my credit card statements I have cut my spending by 40% for the first 2 months. I’m taking what I didn’t spend and starting a Roth IRA’s for my 2 teenage daughters.

Bought a car today before tariffs kick in. Called and asked a friend to drive me 1.5 hours (3 hours both ways) so I can pick it up on Monday. Her response: “YES, I would do anything not to be around a tv during the inauguration.” We ride at noon!
