it really frustrates me too, i think in part it's that allies engage a lot more to "help needed now the sky is falling" even though "things are bad but we can fight them and we are not alone" is more accurate. even in media about us, we're an abstract concept and not an audience of people with fears

We, the team at London Trans+ Pride, are sharing this open statement as The Socialist Workers Party have failed to respond to our direct messages.
We have contacted them many times, over many months and in several ways, to communicate the following message, however we've had no response.
After many years of being on the receiving end of a very difficult and hostile organising style, we are asking The Socialist Workers Party to not attend London's Trans+ Pride 2026 or have any presence at our march.
Last year, the SWP interacted with our team members in a way that was disruptive, disrespectful and
