iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Oh! Very different from my guess, but sounds like amazing equipment nonetheless. ^ ^

Steam Frame I’m guessing? Mine arrived today, but I first have to finish work. Aaaaargh! Hope it arrives soon. ^ ^

Dragon problems. That mansion was already on fire when I got here, I swear!

010

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 04/09/2026

My Bluefire VTubing avatar is alive! Still lots of tweaking to be done, but definitely useable for “video calls” on Discord.

His maw permantly open, as if meaning to scream, yet bearing fangs, as if meaning to devour. You look into his eyes, and all you see is a reflection of yourself, encapsulated by an endless black void.

000

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 03/09/2026

I was experimenting with creating my own VTuber avatar. Problem is: I am lazy, so I just threw my VRChat avatar into an automatic converter. The end result? Bluefire.exe

110

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 31/08/2026

Currently in the process of updating the avatar I use in VRChat (and soon also for some VTubing) since the base got updated. I have unlocked: snout horn!

Bipedal VRChat Bluefire says hello. *boops*

I was pretty surprised too when a friend of mine told me (I don't speak French myself). The idea lived rent free in my head and I just had to do something with it. I'm not even an artist, but it gave me a creative itch. ^ ^;

110

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 17/04/2026

I haven't posted to Bluesky in ages. Neither am I am artist. And yet, I spent way too much time on a meme that only French Wii-playing dragons will understand. And I'm not even French myself. @rhaeloth.bsky.social thanks for enlightening me to the beauty of French. 🇫🇷

Some wacky things happen in multi-lingual countries like Belgium. Because you have no idea which language someone speaks, apps send out the same notification in multiple languages. Likewise, in Belgian cinemas, you will find that the subtitles consist of one line in French and another in Dutch.

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 25/11/2025

The idea of a physical Draconic ID card has been living rent free in my head for a while now. I'm wondering what others think in regards to what technology it should have and what the price should be. "Validate your draconity with the Draconic ID Card, any time and anywhere." ✨

The most useful thing about the new Draconic ID API is linking to your avatar. Simply substitute the profile ID with your own (you can find it in the URL when you are on your profile's page): draconic.id/api/avatar?p... Nerd dragons rejoice!

A new update for Draconic ID is out! Here is what's new: - A collapsible "details" element is now available for profiles, ideal for longer pieces of text. - Mastodon icons now show for nearly all public Mastodon instances. - Several bug fixes. Thanks for using Draconic ID. 💙

It's been great to see you all on Draconic ID. The site is still very much a work in process, so if you have any recomendations or wanted features, please let me know!

000

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 22/10/2025

We have just reached over 200 profiles on Draconic ID! Thank you so much! 💙

030

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 17/10/2025

I was looking forward to reaching 100 dergs on Draconic ID. Never once was I expecting to far surpass it. o--o; It's been great having you all, connecting with locals and dragons who I've long not spoken with. Thanks for giving Draconic ID a chance. 💙

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 15/10/2025

We're at 97, just a bit more!

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 15/10/2025

You're the best! I couldn't have expected so many sign ups for Draconic ID. It has been incredibly heartwarming to see the map slowly come to life. 💙 I've worked on squashing some nasty bugs and a new list page (draconic.id/list). Can we get to 100 dergs? 👀

Small update: Turns out that Eragon's German publisher has made the book cover available under a Creative Commons license. I had to figure out where to give credit, but we've now got a new image for Saphira. :)

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 15/10/2025

No worries! AI for a small decorative element on a hobbyist site might not be as egregious as a large corporation using it for advertising, but I agree that it is better not to have it at all. There are a few bugs I would like to fix first, but after that I'll be on it. Thanks for the feedback. ^ ^

150

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 15/10/2025

Hey Lav, the site should be available just fine. I am aware my ISP is having issues currently, but from my end everything still seems to working. If not, please let me know so I can look into it. Thanks in advance and sorry for the inconvenience. 💙

110

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 15/10/2025

Hey there. The main logo wasn't AI generated, but created by @vendragon.bsky.social. The image of Saphira on the ID is, since I did not manage to find an appropriate stock image (that hadn't also been AI generated). I'll look into replacing it soon again.

130

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 14/10/2025

Aaargh, thank you so much! ^ ^

For any question, refer to the FAQ (draconic.id/faq) or feel free to tag me. I've poured lots of love and many hours into building this. I hope you like what I set up. If you do, please share it with other dragons. 💙

Alright, time to present something I've been working on for a really long time: Draconic ID, a place for dragons to shine. Create a profile with custom theming, text and images, claim a territory of your liking on a 3D earth and stay in control with flexible privacy options. draconic.id

Painted... in VRChat of all things? How? O--O;; I'm only familiar with the markers various worlds have. And to accomplish anything close to that with those? Impossible. ^ ^;

I caught up with the news. Fuck censorship and this puritanical bs. You know what, let's do a dual TF giveaway. The usual, like/repost/follow, and write here an idea for a TF with a friend of yours (plz tag them). Can be SFW, NSFW, micro, macro. I'll pick the winners next week!

Looking forward to the dragonkin meetup this weekend. Just finished writing a special guided meditation just for this occasion. 🔥

Finally! After struggling to go beyond the default cube and model the horn in Blender. After printing dozens of plastic blobs and prototypes. My horns are done and I can't wait to wear them! *insert obligatory horny joke* After an hour of wearing these, I will definitely feel phantom horns...

010

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 06/08/2025

Feeling horny again. This time experimenting with ultra light horns. How light can I make them before they get too fragile? This iteration will have thin walls and no infill.

010

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 05/08/2025

Working on my next wearable horn prototype. This time, I am testing a system that allows you to screw them on. It feels solid, though now I'll need to optimise the weight so the balance is better. Hope I make it before my next furry convention. And @rhaeloth.bsky.social, your horns are coming too!

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 05/08/2025

I'm feeling horny today.

Just came back from #Castlefest! Wow, that was amazing. Reminds me a lot of MPS in Germany, which is the first event of its kind I attended. If you like medieval fantasy, this is the place to be! Great experiences, food, music and stalls.

My goodness, I did not know a different launcher could speed up your device and make it look sleek so much. I wonder if anyone recognises the font. 👀

I would guess maybe if you are playing as a werewolf, but the fox icon throws me off.

Oh wow! No idea you could actually visit the place. I would normally stay away as far as possible, hehe.

Just upgraded my server with fresh drives and a UPS, now running #OpenMediaVault. My goodness, so many fun things to set up and play with right now... Just need a new modem, because the one my new ISP gave me is a bit too limiting (no bridge mode or NAT loopback). Luckily, I got a good deal on Ebay.

A friend got me this pin. He was surprised to find out I recognised where it's from: SCP-1762, Where the Dragons Went. Specifically, this video by Tale Foundry. One of the few videos that made its clickbait thumbnail "You Will Cry" come true. It's a wonderful and tragic story. youtu.be/mJW78y4CNIo

Dragon statues in Barcelona, Spain. Or, at least, that's one way to call them. Some of these statues, though definitely not all, are more gryphon in appearance. It leads to an interesting discussion: at which point does something stop being a dragon? Is it purely arbitrary?

000

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 24/06/2025

Oh? What's the art program? You were using Krita at first, right?

000

Bluefire @bluefi.re · 24/06/2025

Here goes nothing — giving Bluesky a proper try! I will also see if cross-posting with Mastodon is possible, as both social networks seem interesting to me. Both come with their ups and downs. You can find me on Mastodon as bluefire@dragon.style if you are interested.
