Just went to a NASA outreach event. It's so depressing how excited NASA ambassadors are for the colonization of the moon and the commercialization of low Earth orbit. The moon and the night sky are sacred and the crass industrialization of the two at the expense of their natural visibility feels bad

jet pens had the right color I wanted and they were more or less the same price as other places, but they mis-categorized them as "blue." I wish I had just double checked before buying from Amazon

This is my new favorite graph, I think. A chart of everything in the observable universe, plotted by the logs of their same-volume-sphere radii and the logs of their masses. Devised by Lineweaver and Patel Fun fact: each axis being logarithmic is why everything seems to sort neatly into bands.
