The MLB playoffs have taken over my life. My Brewers were AMAZING this weekend, and I got to be there yesterday to witness their walk-off win! One thing I am hating about the MLB playoffs? Having to watch that stupid Sydney Sweeney commercial every commercial break. It gives me the ick so badly.

Why are kids so gross with their bodily functions?! I really wish there would be more emphasis on right time and place for farts and burping, as well as COVERING MOUTHS WHEN COUGHING OR SNEEZING! The amount of snot I have seen come out of noses this year is too much. Also, they spread germs so much!

I found out last night that one of my most influential and favorite teachers from high school passed away. She was my 10th grade speech teacher, and she was also in charge of the theater department. She is the one who encouraged me to join and started my love of musical theater. Rest easy, Kas.

Biopsy procedure went well. Stayed home from work today because I have to ice it every hour, and it hurts a lot more than it did last night. Now, the long wait for results has begun. That feels worse than the physical pain.

So, David Crowley and the establishment wins Wisconsin's gubernatorial primary. While I was really hoping Francesca Hong would pull out a win, I knew it would be difficult in purple Wisconsin. Of course I will be supporting Crowley going forward because Tom Tiffany is a maga Trump sycophant creep.

Okay, saw my primary today. While I have gained weight while dealing with my father-in-law being in hospice all summer, she was compassionate and understanding. We have a plan in place (I am doing everything I can to avoid a GLP-1), and I feel good. What a relief!

Finished with my first mammogram! The worst part was how ripped my skin got underneath and having to stand on my toes for most of it. Now, I have to just wait for the results.

Ready for the week to be over. I have my first mammogram tomorrow because I turned 40 this year, and then I see my doctor for my annual physical on Wednesday. Really hoping she doesn't blame everything on my weight/focus solely on my weight. If so, I think I will need to find a new doctor.

Every year, I volunteer to bar tend at Germanfest in Milwaukee with my family. Today, a woman in a dirndl came up to get a beer, and it took EVERYTHING in me to keep my eyes on her face. I felt like such a creep haha! 🫣 Anyway, those dirndls are fantastic. 🥵
