There are so many amazing people who are always creating beautiful things. I sometimes feel we’re parked diagonally in a parallel universe and then I see everything from art, novels, theatre, TV, audio dramas, books, music etc and it brings a smile to my face.

I have my final script for this weeks final voice acting class and it’s a mock pro session. Eeeek, bites nails!

It wouldn’t accept it 😔☹️

Once again, I actually tried using the word Rels in a scrabble game over my lunch. A few mins later, I am now thinking “I am sure that’s a unit of measurement l” Then it dawned 🙄 Trust me.

I always look forward to this.

The Seeds of Doom is one of my favourite stories for so many reasons. It’s beautiful, clever and in parts it’s incredibly disturbing. On watching it when it first aired aged 4,I can remember being scared. I feel it drew so much from The Quatermass Experiment. It’s a great story.

We are celebrating one of nature’s most spectacular showstoppers: the dahlia. These bold blooms come in a rainbow of colours and shapes, bringing bursts of pink, purple, red and gold to September gardens. We can’t get enough!

🍄 Fungi season alert 🍄 We don't meant to alarm anyone, but the best time of the year has arrived. Check out these specimens found at Sheffield Park and Garden. Behold: orange peel fungus, fly agaric, rounded earth star and cauliflower fungus

Bright orange fungus that looks like slithered of curled orange peel amongst brown leaves

A classic toadstool with a white stem, red top and white spots growing out of a bed of bright yellow leaves

Fascinating white mushroom globes with an outer layer peeled back that looks like a star. They are growing from dark earth

A huge sponge of beige fungus growing at the based of a large tree trunk

My preposterously talented fellow humanoid Barnaby has an exhibition of his paintings at Exeter Picturehouse. The theme is fantasy cinema, and needless to say this beauty is one of my favourites. If you’re in the area between now and 1 November, do drop in. If not, it’s all online. See thread below!

I used to love going to David Wood Pantos when I was little. He is great and I still remember how much he did for children’s theatre.

There is a Downton Abbey LEGO set! I saw it in the LEGO shop this morning, it’s fab. www.lego.com/en-gb/produc...

I wish I had magic dust to sprinkle over so many friends who are going through difficult times at the moment. Sadly, I know that isn't possible, but if it were possible, I would be doing it 😊

‘Happy Birthday’ to the voice of the Daleks, Nicholas Briggs 😀 🎉 Photo taken by me.

050

I took this photo a few years back. A friend said it looks like a Dalek has been pushed through the hedge. I can see that 😂

071

Which James Bond villain does a Dalek like the most? Skaromanga (I will get my coat 😄)

251

I won a competition in the Eighties. I won a ‘Brain of Morbius’ VHS for doing a Dalek voice over the phone. I honestly did 😁 I think I held my nose, as I thought it would sound more like one. I am still very proud of this fact 😂
