A lot of people think Dracula is like a "kiddy" version of a monster because of modern pop culture, but I'm here to remind you that he explicitly EATS A FUCKING BABY in the original novel. Bram Stoker's Dracula is one of the best and most disturbing horror novels you could ever read.

Looking for something that scratches that old Survival Horror genre itch while hoping for a game that stands out? This is what the doctor ordered! I dare not state any spoilers. What I will say is I picked this game off the trailer and a whim...I am not disappointed. If you pride yourself on surviving long as possible on your first play through on a horror game like I do, then you're in for a reality check. Gameplay is shocking, but fair. Puzzles are not hard yet, but you have to pay attention and remember your items. Run, fight, or use what you got. Its a fun and interesting learning experience to see how the game works, to manage your limited inventory, and being brave enough and smart enough to guess when to push foward. The game is terrifying and challenges you to control your fear to better consider your options. I'm an hour in and I'm excited to see what else is in store. If you love survival horror, don't let yourself get haunted by missing out on this gem!

DO IT. I promise it's worth it. I've played the game twice during very different stages of it's life, once while cosplaying as Ben, and I would and will replay it again. It stays incredible and I can't recommend enough. Horror and anime fans will eat GOOD with this.

BUG NOTE: There's a bug in the PS5/4 versions where the game hangs on a black transition scene when using the elevator. A patch is on the way momemtarily, but you can get the game to progress if you hit the "Pause" button when it stalls out.

Real talk: do the people complaining about game prices think the only games that matter are brand new AAA games? Honestly, gaming has never been cheaper, in my experience. You can get new indie or older AAA bangers for a few bucks or sometimes free.

Fun Demon Slayer fact for all non-Japanese speakers: “infinity” is “mugen” in Japanese, so the direct translation for Mugen Train is Infinity Train. Interesting why they didn’t go with Infinity Train for the last film or with Mugen Castle for this one.

I’m conflicted about Hogan’s passing. When I was a kid in the 80s & 90s, he was my favorite wrestler because his stage persona was a good person who stood up for others. Obviously, his real life personality turned out to be quite the opposite. I wish he was the person I thought he was.
