I can't wait until it starts having issues and they have no idea how to fix it. And then make it continuously worse by trying to get GenAI to keep "fixing" it.

010

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

Do I think there are useful cases for GenAI, yes; but this sure as hell isn't it. Unfortunately, it won't be until a studio's bottom line gets hit hard that they will reverse course or even care. Epic needs to absolutely fail in my opinion if this is really the stance they want to take.

I decided to give the Story Mode another go in Avatar Legends post update 3. Oh boy is it so much more fun now! Not to say I want making any progress before, but it is so much more fun now.

Mental capacity has been at it's max for a bit, so focusing on unwinding this weekend. Bouncing between my October games of Graveyard Keeper 2 and Quarantine Zone. Perfect for the season. Also playing Avatar Legends and Subnautica Below Zero as my zen games.

Went out to get my COVID vaccine and picked this up. Can't argue when it was only $15. Time to finally watch this through its entirety.

While I have been having a blast with Fantasy Life i, scratching that fun progression itch for me, I'm really bummed about Level-5. New paid DLC, but I'm considering skipping out due to their tone deaf CEO.

030

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Steam Autumn sale started and I already picked up a new game. I added Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game to my fighting game rotation. Now I just need to actually watch the series.

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

After seeing so many people "outgrowing video games" when I was growing up, I made a promise to myself to never stop playing them. I'm really glad I never followed suit. So many amazing adventures I get to be a part of and not just be an observer.

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

It is a double edged sword to have a spouse/partner who is also a gamer with similar interests. My wife started playing Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time and that made me want to play it also. I'm having a lot of fun finally getting around to it though.

011

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I spent some time with family this last weekend and we all ended up playing Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game. While this was on my radar, I hadn't considered getting it. After this weekend, I'm now thinking of adding this to my fighting game rotation. It was more fun than I expected.

I played the demo for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival. They are not holding back at all and it is as Hellraiser as you can get. Thoroughly twisted and the cenobites are spot on. I'm keep this on my wishlist.

Cyberpunk 2077 apparently wasn't enough to scratch my open world RPG itch. So now I'm picking back up my Kingdom Come Deliverance playthrough I never finished. I forgot how much I love the KCD games. Might start a new KCD 2 playthrough before the year is over.

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I'm getting really tempted to get back into World of Warcraft again due to Forever. I will have to see if I can make time with everything else I want to play.

After watching the StarCraft announcement today a second time, I'm thinking it's going to be an extraction shooter in the same vein as Helldivers 2.

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

All right. Now I just need to keep myself preoccupied until November. My third playthrough of CP2077 is done, and I reached the end of My Time at Portia. Started up Everspace 2, Graveyard Keeper 2 releases later this month, and The Witcher 3 remaster is calling me back. I think I'm covered.

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

My emotions are running wild. I can't describe how happy I am seeing the LoZ Ocarina of Time remake. No question, this is a day one purchase for me.

Wrapped up the Phantom Liberty DLC in Cyberpunk 2077. I really enjoyed the story. While mixed on the endings, I'm glad I went the route I did. Fits with my decision and led me to my favorite main ending.

I've really been enjoying the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077. Feels like the right amount of content and hasn't disappointed me at all.

Just about back to normal after my outpatient procedure. I've been spending most of my time with a new playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077. This time I'll finally play the Phantom Liberty DLC. Looking forward to the new story.

It's been a while since I've pre-order a game so quickly after it became available to. No brainer for me with Graveyard Keeper 2. So excited to finally play it.

Recovering from post outpatient surgery, nothing serious. Took this as a good time to rewatch the Batman (1989) and Batman Returns. I really like the Michael Keaton as Batman.

My wife and I finally got around to doing a garbage dump run we have been talking about for years. That was both disgusting and satisfying to finally clear out what we did.

I got all 4 endings of Below, Rusted Gods. Even though I knew how the game progressed, it still creeped me out and startled me a few times. I'm really glad I played it.

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

There is something to be said about having no music in a horror game and leaving it all to the ambient sounds in the environment. It makes for a very creepy and intense environment.

020

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Decided to playthrough Below, Rusted Gods to get the rest of the Steam achievements. Only two more ends to go. I really like this premise.

000

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

For an inexpensive indie horror game, I'm really enjoying Below, Rusted God. It's a fairly simple game, but the suspense and creepy factor are on point. Interesting perspective being on the operator side of a mission. store.steampowered.com/app/2895680/...

Doom: The Dark Ages Revelations DLC complete. I feel like they really ramped up the base difficulty with that DLC. Oh boy. Of course now I'm sad we may not see where that story might have continued with what happened to id Software.

010

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Sometimes it's just nice to sit back and play a chill game like My Time at Portia. Then, when I'm feeling like I need a little more, switch over to Doom: The Dark Ages Revelations DLC. I love video games.

I didn't get much of a chance to play Marvel Tokon yesterday. I spend most of my evening setting up my new WiFi 7 router and replacing all my Ethernet cables with Cat8 cables. Old router was going sideways, so I figured it was time for an upgrade. Curious to see how much of an improvement I see.

I took a much needed week off last week. Played video games and binged watched as much as I could on Amazon Prime before my free month ends in a week. Caught up on the following: - Legend of Vox Machina - The Mighty Nein - Fallout - Spider-Noir - Masters of the Universe

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

I decided to switch to something a bit more casual and upbeat compared to Tainted Grail and started playing My Time at Portia as my main game. Having a lot of fun with it so far.

020

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

After finding out that the PlayStation SDK didn't install, I got Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls to run. While I didn't have the confidence to play online, I had a lot of fun with the single player content and trying out each of the characters. This is going to be a fun fighter to add to my rotation.

000

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

I just finished Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon and I got the Beyond the Veil ending. I really enjoyed the new take on the King Arthur lore and glad I gave it another go. Now I just need to switch to something a bit less gloomy.

000

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

I was hoping to play the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls open beta today, but it doesn't seem to be in the cards. The anti cheat locked up my PC on first launch and now I can't connect to the network after finally launching the game. Here's to hoping my luck is better tomorrow at least.

This has been a "fun" week for medical reasons for me, so I've been listening to more music to help distract me. I have to say that I've been really enjoying Motionless in White's new album Decades.

Finally getting around to watching Project Hail May.

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

I finished up my second playthrough of Subnautica 2. Those biomods are very nice to have and made it "easy" to scan the collector leviathan. Still scary as hell. Now onto playing Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. The combat is finally clicking for me and I'm making progress.

000

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

It's been a while since I've listened to Marilyn Manson and I'm really enjoying One Assassination Under God - Chapter 1. Not often I can listen through an entire album and not want to skip any tracks. Very curious about Chapter 2 releasing soon.

000

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

I'm back into Subnautica 2 with a new playthrough. Taking my time, but made an early trek across Leviathan Collector territory for the Bioscanner and mats to get a jump start on biomods. Got greed for mats and drowned myself. First death in Subntautica 2.🤣

Between sales, gift cards, and pre-orders, I've expanded my game library a bit. - Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls (PC) - Dead Space (PC) - Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon (PC) - Blue Prince (Switch 2) - No More Heroes 3 (Switch 2) - Star Fox (Switch 2) - Virtua Fighter 5 REVO (Switch 2)

Time for my second playthrough.

000

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

One very nice advantage to limiting my exposure to social media, I've been getting back into just playing whatever game I happen to feel like playing and not caring about where all the online hype is around. Reminds me of when I was kid.

000

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

Finished my first run in Star Fox. Rusty as hell and realizing my thumbs are used to this, so not my greatest. Opted for the Andross Mech route just to make it through once. Time to let my hands recover now. 😄

030

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

I beat Dead Space last night and had a lot of fun revisiting that game. The remake looks amazing! Now to finally start playing the new Star Fox. It's been a while since I played this and I'm looking forward to the refreshed take on the story.

000

Anthony @bludrgn311.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Since I'm now waiting for EA 1.1 for Subnautica 2, I decided to snag the Dead Space remake on the Steam sale. Holy shite, I forgot how amazing this game is. Scratching that right Sci-fi horror itch right now and it looks amazing!
