Multiple comp strats show signs of working and 52/blaster aren't as popular. All modes forces reliance on easier less interesting weapons that work everywhere and similar playstyles. 1366

It’s def hard to balance well but any weapon can just be hit on a million different parameters until it feels worse in the way you’re looking for. It’s not that you’ll need to carry in comp like in solo, but being able to squeeze as much as possible and legitimately catch people who know what they’re doing off guard 130
