Some, if not all, of the Insta Monkey icons in BTD6 are taken from model sheets and concept art, not the towers' in-game models. This seems to be why the icons are inconsistent with how towers look in-game (especially for the Ninja Monkeys, where all the icons have differently shaped heads/faces).
