Just published in Rind n Root issue 2 AS GOOD AS BREAD I never experienced a house pervaded with the smell of freshly baked bread. We had white Wonder bread bought every week at Kroger. The closest thing to baking bread was making fresh doughnuts. Mother, when she wasn’t a storm, performed… #poet
