My husband @robertcooper-us.bsky.social and I were the FIRST gay couple to adopt children in the US, way back in 1985. We went on to adopt five wonderful kids — all adopted at birth. Just heard from a friend who is a true hero veteran. His company was destroyed in 30 days by the VA when they canceled 5 contracts without notice. 23 Americans mostly veterans out of work and a veteran owned small business destroyed. For nothing. They're dismantling the VA not "reforming" it.
