I agree that it’s a fun little own goal, but I want add that you don’t even need to be “pretty damn good at whatever you’re doing”. The imperfections that can only come from humans will and has become something people actively seek out and cherish. Keep doing what you do. You’re awesome.

Haha no I didn’t have any of that stuff! That would have been the event staff if anything. I did a lot of event coverage for Aus Nats but we never had coverage for NZ Nats so I definitely wouldn’t have had anything like that 😂

Ahhh the alt is in italics, that makes sense! I believe I was 6th in the cut to top 8 in 2006, if that helps. I can’t remember who the two missing names were, though.

I wasn’t thrilled with my pool at the Magic: The Gathering HOBBIT prerelease, but it turned out this deck was cracked and got me a solid 3-0 (6-1) easily! Tidings of War turn 1 was always insane, and I often had an 8/8 army on turns 4/5.
