To me Talarico's job is to make sure the Ds swing a big stick so thoroughly at the structural issues that the conservatives after him are forcibly disciplined into moderation. GA is still very red at all other levels, and Ossoff/Warnock still just barely got through.

I'm not really able to square this with Germany, Japan, and Italy though, separate category? My view is that we just...put in the full-bore effort of manpower, resources, and hard work. While Vietnam, Iraq, Afghan were doing it lazy/cheap/constrained ('neoliberally'?), and thus fail.
