FAFO and Leopards? 😁 I’ve added to my library, can’t wait to get into it 😍

I’m very sorry you’re going through this. A complicated relationship is especially hard to navigate IMHO. Take care of yourself.

Happy birthday!! It’s absolutely true. Get amongst it, you got this.

Your vinyl posts are a salve for the soul, so you keep doing whatever you need to do mate.

Well earned I’d say. It’s a pleasure to meet you.

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

That would have been great! You’ve had a fabulous career! I was interviewed on the ABC once. I can’t remember the show, I was a chick engineer and that was a thing. Ironically given our chat, the Oils were in our beloved studio doing Blue Sky Mine and they all watched it with live with me. Trippy.

Bwahahaha. Marvellous. How true to form. That’s some serious authenticity right there.

210

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

It stands up today doesn’t it? It was so perfect but not at all sterile. Masterclass.

010

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

Lol well given the era it was a reasonable assumption!

110

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

Oh right I see that now 😁. Wasn’t that incredible? I’ve never forgotten it. I can remember almost the whole Talking Heads set - probably reinforced by the film - note by note. It made a huge impression on me.

Oh no way!! At the Capitol? (Was it?) How fantastic.

120

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

Ah!! I saw that one in the cinema too and then made my 15 year old watch it so they could understand how amazing it is to get involved in things you feel are important. And so they understood that if Rob Hirst is playing it’s important to nail the kick to the floor.

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

Is it the Hardest Line? I saw it in the cinema and just burst into tears at the end. I can’t bear the loss of Bones, and I was so happy to have been at least marginally involved in all that scene and also so sad that we’re where we are now in the world. Charlie is amazing! Magazine or ..?

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

Right? I used to do FOH for a band called Gondwanaland and we opened for the Oils a bunch on their 20,000 Watt RSL tour. So I was lucky enough to see them in the smaller venue up close. It was epic! Sweat literally dripping from the ceiling.

I love it. Mysterious urbanness.

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

My pleasure. I mentor a lot of young women in tech and they’re all incredible, with their own talent and edge. You just gotta do it, we need people like you in game design.

That’s one of my favourite live recordings ever. So amazing, tight and passionate. I loved the stripped back production, it just rocks in a raw unbridled way.

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

I started in Unreal Engine at 56 and I just turned 60 a couple of weeks ago. If I can do it you certainly can. You got this.

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

Magnificent!! I love your pics, and the informative snippets. Thank you!

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

That’s a very solid take. And helpful, currently. :)

Thanks Jim. Keep fighting the good fight, mate.

One of my absolute favourites that inspired my producer/engineer journey early on and still does.

Yeah it was amazing. I was very moved to be there, it felt magic. Here’s the roos on the road at Ikara NP

Kangaroos having a drink from road puddles at Ikara national park in the Flinders Ranges, Australia. Long curved road with red dirt and tees, multiple Roos in the distance

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 20/01/2025

Right?? I feel this crap is getting super normalised. Not cool. Just uncool as all fuck.

000

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 20/01/2025

Just saying out loud how we’re all feeling. 😁

010

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 20/01/2025

I took my US inlaws on a road trip from the central coast to the Flinders Ranges. It rained a bit while we were there and tonnes of roos came out onto the road to drink from the puddles. It was crazy! We did about 1k/ph and stopped constantly because they’d look at you then hop off. Awesome.

110

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 20/01/2025

Aw I love that. They pick you, not you pick them. That’s how you know. 😊

000

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 18/01/2025

Wow! Well done! I won’t tell you how much I could not do that.

000

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 18/01/2025

Your priorities are correctly prioritised.

Sammy has a great face. What a good dog.

110

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 18/01/2025

That’s lovely! I love seeing them in the nature. Doing their thang. Or not really doing anything, generally. 😁

110

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

That’s epically beautiful. For all sorts of reasons.

040

Blind Chihuahua @blindchi.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

Yay! I’ll celebrate menus with ya. 🙌

Gawd I miss albums as an art form.

Omigerd that’s absolutely hilarious. Who thought “oh we’ll just put Mariah in an iceberg and defrost her” as an entrance? And then someone else said “yeah ok let’s do that”. You gotta love it.

Bwahahaha my mum used to look just like this, it used to freak me out totally as a child. Explains a lot really.
