it took about 45 minutes on the 220 grit to get the sole mostly flat. Probably good enough for now?
I gave the iron 20 seconds on each grit and that got it PLENTY sharp
this plane still sucks but at least it cuts now

- No good reason. I slipped into British spellings without deciding to, and it isn't a convention in your repo. It shows up in:
- Prose: "millimetres", "colours", "localised", "serialises"
- Code: the moulding field name, prop and CSS class
- Comments: "metres"
The US forms are "millimeters", "colors", "localized", "serializes" and "molding" (you already wrote "millimeters" in your request). Want me to switch everything to American spelling?
