Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 15hThat's what I was going to say. Even if they lowered rates, it might goose the stock market (or not). But it doesn't help get people jobs immediately. And election day is a few weeks away. (It also would make inflation worse... but Trump is not smart enough to understand this.) 000

Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I assume the ref didn't know why Eric Wilson banged into him. But instead of trying to figure it out, he just started yelling at him, etc. 010
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 05/10/2026It's ex-wife! She divorced him because of the adultery, and then she still cut the ad! She looks upset and did not mention him by name. Don't know if that is effective or not... 010
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Feels like that should be a homer. Yes, I heard them explain the rule. But the rule seems off in this case... 020
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 02/10/2026EXCUSE ME. Do NOT invoke the great John Madden to make your immoral point. Take that name out your mouth and shut up. 000
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 30/09/2026That is beautiful. Even as a Timberwolves fan, Ewing was my favorite player growing up. And this makes me really happy for him. 000
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 28/09/2026The old run-backward-24-yards-then-heave-an-off-balance-throw play... How could it fail? 101
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I think he was still pretty active today. I think they got 2 holding penalties against him trying to prevent sacks. 030
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I HATED that call. He did nothing wrong! The announcer said he hit him in the head/neck area. Then the replay shows he hit him in the chest. Refs almost handed it to the Bucs with that call. 000
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 27/09/2026As someone mentioned, it does remind me of the Antonio Freeman catch against the Vikings (although not quite the same). 000

Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I listen to Vikings podcasts every day. I thought I knew every little transaction that happened in the off-season. Then Deejay Dallas laid down that nasty block, and I said WHO?! I thought the announcer made a mistake or something. 010
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I'm surprised special teams is that high. I know Price had a good return, but I feel like we gave up a big return or two as well... 010
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I had never heard of that either. I guess he was accused of stealing vicodin from the locker room. 100
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Turner was a monster. They just couldn't block him. Packers also seemed confused in their protection several times, but you gotta hand it to Brian Flores for keeping the pressure up for 60 straight minutes. He makes you make mistakes! 010

Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 06/09/2026This has naturally morphed into a "trans debate" as these fake fans get bored with a sport they never actually liked in the first place. Sophie Cunningham first got some popularity being Caitlin Clark's teammate/friend/protector. The conservatives loved how it worked into their race angle. 110
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 06/09/2026It's because of Caitlin Clark. She caught the national attention span/media cycles as she was breaking records in college. A lot of conservative bros started to "root" for her as a Great White Hype kind of thing. 230
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 06/09/2026I am convinced that most people who are hyping up AI everywhere are being paid off. And I'll never be convinced otherwise. 020
Ben Lev @blevinger.bsky.social · 03/09/2026They should give them back nothing. They did it in purpose. They have no remorse. If the punishment is not severe enough, then every team will do it, and the salary cap will be completely meaningless. 000
