Puppy hates her brush so much. The breeder suggested a $90 dollar brush and after seeing it in action, yeah i'm spending that. Hopefully she likes that one better 🫠

There's a commentary youtuber i really liked the concept of, they make long videos like i prefer... but each and everyone on them, there's one or many parts i super side eye, plus i always completely zone out outside of those parts and can't focus on what they're saying the rest of the video...

While i wait for the big puppy dreams to be over, here's a sleeve made of my dark red organza. I am hand finishing every seam as i go by felling them. It's prettier this way, but it's really so the raw edges don't scratch me haha. Anyway, bodice is assembled and seams are finished too

The power's out for the whole night. We're in a neighbourhood with smaller lots, so we're all really squeezed together... someone has a loud ass generator. How are we all supposed to sleep so you can have power during the night? Like i really hope it's for a medical reason 😭

I kinda miss the days where a game release was easily found in physical stores. Now, gamestop will have boxes on their wall but no stock (or they only allow preorders with forced extra purchases apparently), and it's a 50/50 chance walmart or bestbuy has it 🙄. We'll try again tomorrow i guess

I decided on a design for the jacket for my dress. It's a fun mix of two old patterns from my grandma, one from the 70s and the other from the late 80s 👌 from the former, i take the big bishop sleeves and fitting cuffs and from the latter i take the front overlap and peplum.

I bought $25 worth of songs yesterday and i'm very happy with that. It solves a few pain points i had ✌️ qobuz being able to be installed on my work pc without admin intervention is really great. I don't care about the streaming if i can buy music, big plus if i can download it on any device 💪

One thing that annoys me with music streaming platforms is that if you like an entire album, it doesn't automatically like all the songs it contains. Oh you want to choose a song to listen to? Open the album to find it! So annoying. If i add an album, that should mean to add all its tracks too.

Tomorrow, i want to prep the straps, finish prepping the top of the dress, and see if the skirt width is actually good, adjust that as needed, add pockets, maybe the zipper. If i'm not too fed up, i can decide on the hem too.. that way it would be basically done in 3 days 💪

Did A LOT of math to have a satisfying ratio lol. Went from an old pattern of an a-line gathered skirt, like the little images in the instructions, scaled that up to my measurements, cut a metre long piece of fabric and pinned the results to see if i liked it
