:v I am still not 100% sure on this colour scheme, but I thought it'd be fun to try and give Raspberry here a sloppy colour in too. Just for future reference uwu I keep worrying her dress jumps out a bit too much, but then I also think that maybe that effect could be mitigated by shading? Dunno!

I am still trying not to be dead. I have nothing I would consider complete so uh... here's yet more WIPs! I still cannot seem to ever be pleased with hair when I drawr. Painting faces is fun, but trying to figure out a method for getting hair to look better than roughed in blocks eludes me :c

As is tradition :v I bring you gibberish names! Just refer to this man as Bohla for now (am wondering if Bohlas sounds better... I dunno how to come up with names.)

At some point I wish to give him some harlequin makeup when I figure out the whole "I can't paint hair" thing ^ ^;

Nohloth! Much like our other friend to the left, I wish to give him some kind of face-paint when I figure out how to make hair not look terrible. Also the earrings owo they too must be developed!

For this lovely lady, I took a pictor from my Sketchbook I did during lunchbreak one day which was also never finished in there uwu I know not how far I wanna take her, but I mostly set out to do a rough "this is what your outfit would prolly look like" picture of her :v

I have no name for her for now, simply codenamed Strawberry owo much like how I have another demon lady named Cherry for now! Fruits are seeds of evil after all!

I swear... I'm not dead! I just keep falling off The Hoarse™ so to say (yes I spelled it wrong on purpose.) Here is yet ANOTHER WIP! :v just trying to do yet another little character facey face for an OC to "get back in the saddle" and all that. Then I can go back to other WIPs!

I have no clue if I am uploading this correctly as per usual... prolly gonna be squashed on here but OH WELL. So yee, this here is Zohla :v yet ANOTHER Drow (or Droh as I call them in my totally legally distinct world in my head I will probably never develop lol) and she's been sitting in my head for a long while (and my Tomodachi Life island too of course.)

I still suck at hair and eyes... and lips really... but I must learn somehow uwu yes.

Once again, I must post and say I am not deceased! I have not been working at it as much as I should... very little progress ^ ^; but better than no progress I suppose. It feels like it's been longer than just 10 days since my last post... anyway yeah! More progress!

I am thinking of maybe moving slightly towards less complicated lips and noses on my next pics after I am finished with this Gal here. I feel like anytime I get to colouring in the eyes & eyelashes, mouth/lips, noses, and hair, progress just comes to a stand still... so I'm gonna maybe see if I can adjust that a bit as I keep painting over this lady!

I'm still not exactly happy with the hair either, and the eyelashes have yet to be painted. Also redid the eyes and am still fighting myself in my head about them lol. I have too many thoughts on what is wrong so I shall cease my rambling! I'll see if I can maybe get another post here in less time the next time around.

Just to say I'm not dead, here's a WIP! Thought I'd try seeing how fast I could do something if I were to start with just a blob of colour, no lineart and all that. I am pleased so far :v although not sure about the eyes still. Definitely gonna find myself obsessing over things, BUT OH WELL!

The initial blob! I've been itching to do something the past few days while working on another picture to try seeing how fast I could put something out without line art, just start with a vague shape and then also draw in some splotchy lines to say "oh the eyes, mouth, and nose go here I guess?" so it's not totally amorphous.

And I managed to get this far after roughly 40 mins of working so that's nice :v I may be generous with that timeframe but it's faster for me lol, normally obsessing over stupid things as I go.

Woah, it Elfman - Rudohlf/Rudouterre! I sort of took a break from him for a while just because I got stuck on the hair, but yeee I think I am satisfied with where he is... FOR NOW™. I shant stress over him anymore though. I shall drawr moar of him in the future.

Yeah getting the facial hair right was kind of hard since I was struggling to get it to meet his skin in a more organic way, so eventually I just tried painting flesh tones into the facial hair as opposed to painting a lot of really bad looking strands of hair and it seemed to work out.

Not sure if I got the scars quite how I wanted them, but this was supposed to be a quick pic originally, another test of Greyscale to Colour with a Gradient Map and I am pleased to say it was a success methinks. I got a nice pic of Elfyman now all set for reference down the line when I wish to draw something full body/in scenery.

Borders are definitely something I wish to work on eventually, and backgrounds too, although this background I kind of just wanted it to be super dark and maybe have a bit of a cosmic look to it amidst the burning orange marks creeping in the back there.

Woah... it's me. It's you! It is not Elfyman, but I felt like trying my hand at doing something quick-ish and rough and messy :v so, prolly no the best thing around, but I had fun making it and was happy with how it turned out for the most part. Definitely seeing some stuff I could have fixed...

I have named her... Ra'Vira. Another demon-lady of some sort I guess. Something related to the woods porhaps? And the darkness, and what watched in the dark. What does the name mean? I dunno... I'm bad at names.

She turned out more saturated than I initially envisioned. She's been in my brainbox for a while and I just decided on a whim to start doing a quick picture of her last night and here it is.

Blargh, it been a while. Here's how things are goin' ! Took a little vacation, came back from vacation like... a couple days ago, and am SICK! So yee :v it's not much but am roughing them colours in for Mr. Blue Elfman here. Felt like I should updoot. Rudoutere/Rudohlf continues to be a WIP.

I feel like the scariest things to work on so far are the eyes and the hair.

Not sure how I'll get the facial hair to meet the skin in a more natural way, but for now it's just a solid colour block really. And eyes are kind of messed up a bit too at the moment, gonna tweak them around and properly colour the pupils in and the eyelashes as best I can.

Yeah... Eyebools and Hairy Bits are always the hardest for me lol, and maybe the edges too as I feel like I still fail to achieve the properly 3D look/a sense of depth at the edge of my stuff, but hey! LEARNING!

Also, because I realize I forgot to post this, eat this other WIP that I do really want to finish. This creature, is Morrigan \ o - o / lovely Demon lady. I spent so long on that stupid chair, I burned myself out lol...

I turned off the lineart so she's prolly a bit smudgy looking in spots, but yee I wanna come back to this at some point and at least flesh it out more.

That chair got really out of control for how much time I spent on it. I don't even know if it was really worth it, but I do like all the funky shapes I got in there, plus the fabric of her dress draped over it was fun to do too.

WAH! Another... WIP! One that I am currently actually working on so uh... I'll post more updoots as I go I guess. In the miniscule amount of time I get to drawr 🙃 He is (tentatively) named Rudotere or Rudolf or something, I dunno. I don't have naming conventions for my silly characters...

Just another shot at trying Greyscale to Colour with a different character (he is also a Drow so prepare for more blue people). Haven't really gotten the shapes I want 100% in some areas yet, but oh lawd I'm trying.

I should draw him happier one day... maybe when I draw a full body where he gets one of his signature BIG COATS™, because any good Sorcerer loves big coats.

Here's some more Kloh pics that have been WIP for ages. I hope one day I can go back and finish them, but I keep letting stuff sidetrack me too much and dropping pics without meaning to lol. Big Chun-Li and some Mai inspirations in her, but mostly Chun. Kloh's a funny Drow Monk. Fights Chun style!

This was the first sort of beeg Kloh pic I tried my hand at.

The main reason I kind of dropped it was because I was not happy with the belt/waist area on her outfit so I just kind of gave up lol. The thought of painting that over felt like it'd be a lengthy process beyond my skill level. Porhaps some day I shall go back, because I do quite like this one for the most part.

And here be the second Kloh pictor I attempted. Thought it'd be fun to try some background practice too, I enjoyed making the funni tree.

Still not sure if I am 100% sold on outfit changes in the waist area, but yee I definitely feels better than the last one, just less overly busy/cluttered in my silly opinion.

This one I definitely want to return to at some point! I think I got sidetracked from random other junk irl like work sucking the life/will to do things from me and VIDEO GAEMS (Nightreign was a big one I think)

I do hope I have managed to be somewhat consistent with her face/hair among the 3 pics I've posted on here so far (the 1st post and then the 2 WIPs here) but yee...

Woah... I'm not dead. Here's a picture of a Drow creature named Kloh Ninaka. I thought I'd try doing a Greyscale to Colour type portrait/bust with a Gradient Map, and I kind of like how it worked out I think. Not sure if the border is the best, but maybe I'll make better ones in the future!

What was supposed to be a quick side-project, turned out to take overly long to complete in slow bursts of progress lol (too many distractions!) Probably not the most fantastic final owo; but I think I am happy saying Oguri is done for now! More steps on the path of Learning™.

Woah... look it's WIP artwork! Figured I'd try posting something, even if it isn't finished. I've never really posted on Social Media before so here's hoping I'm doing it right. This here is Oguri. Why is that her name? I dunno, I like it. Learning Digital Art is fun.

Latest WIP so far. Just got her eyes painted in and gonna leave them as is for now. Still not sure I am super happy with how the horns are looking, or if the skin is too over exposed/could use some other colours to balance it out (never really worked much outside of Greyscale) but I'll keep on trucking on! I could rant and rant about my nitpicks lol but it's best to just keep on going and hopefully improving as I go.
