This guy is two years old now, but is still called a puppy by strangers

It is my duty to finally post a cat & dog photo

A small black dog, wearing a striped shirt and a harness, looking up at a black and white cat, who is thinking about pouncing on the little dog.

I was always a big fan of Mammillaria, but just recently discovered Rebutia and, wow.

Bob reminds me of our late cat - Buster, who was handsome and known for being trouble.

I have one of these to just power our modem and/or phones and our tortoise’s heat lamp in an outage. It’s handy to have and really small.

Sorry, that’s a worker. This is a drone.

Beekeeper holding a drone bee to practice marking queens. The drone has a white dot on his thorax and is being gently held between the beekeeper’s right thumb and forefinger, before being rereleased into the hive.

He just got some sweet potato (he’s only ten pounds so no thanksgiving hotdogs)

Small black dog on patch of astroturf, which is his FAVORITE, looking at his human to say, “I know this isn’t my lawn. I just like it, okay?”

Dutch looks like very patient guy. I should know, because I too have an “Izzy”, but in black.

Little black dog, on a leash, turning around, with an expression that says, “What?”

Just felt like posting a dog picture today. It’s been a heck of a week

Wind blown small black dog with one ear up and one ear down in front of a fantastic pile of hand chopped wood just in time for winter.

This was when I first found them, before they changed hands. They used to sell scions and rootstocks, as well as trees. If you haven’t done grafting, it’s very fun. I’ve kept it, because it’s full of my notes.

Saved catalog full of notes about favorite apple and pear varieties.
