Seit einer Woche ist sie wieder daheim und ich bin so dankbar. Das Lungenödem ist noch nicht gänzlich weg und sie bekommt noch Antibiotika und Kortison, aber sie wird jeden Tag fitter. ♡

Heute beginnt der Disability Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈 Es geht um mehr Chancen-Gleichheit, Inklusion und, dass die Gesellschaft weg vom medizinischen Modell von Behinderungen geht. Die Flagge der Disability Pride wurde von der Behinderten-Rechts-Aktivistin und Malerin Ann Magill entworfen. Was sie bedeutet?

Die Disability-Pride-Flagge. Es ist ein dunkelgrauer Hintergrund und darauf sind parallel, schräg verlaufend, die Farben Rot, Gold, Weiß, Blau, Grün. Es steht auf jeder Farbe die Beschreibung wofür die Farbe steht. Rot steht für körperliche Behinderungen, Gold für Lernschwierigkeiten und Neurodivergenz, Weiß für unsichtbare und undiagnostizierte Behinderungen, Blau für psychische Erkrankungen, Grün für Sinnesbehinderungen und der Hintergrund in Dunkel-Grau für Menschen mit Behinderungen, die ihr Leben verloren haben, für Opfer von ableistischer Gewalt und für Protest

Rourkie doin' a hehe. Baron gave him the nickname "Barrel boy" after Rourke spend a good amount of time running errands for people at a refugee camp. This involved picking up and moving a lot of big heavy barrels and bags. Rourke hopes it doesn't stick.
