I was thinking about this the other day! I think that a mix of the depression, stress from Stella, and not eating right as a result of both made him a little ill. Now that he's in a safer environment and has blitzø to tell him to eat something better than cereal, he looks way healthier

My fave part of any HB release is when everyone takes Blitz’ words completely at face value so ppl are like omg Stolas *made* Blitz sneak in like that all the time?? As if Blitz doesn’t have a biased pov on Stolas where he assumes the worst until like Mastermind

I saw that theory! I like it, because it disproves the thought Octavia has that her father ran away at the first chance he got. Vassago might have given him many chances to leave, but he never once left her side until he was torn away from her

Blake 🖤✨ @bleeding-heartss.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Seriously, i think it'd break her to find that out. She already feels so much like a burden to him, an obligation that made him depressed, so to find out her very conception was something so awful? i can't imagine she'd be okay

120

Blake 🖤✨ @bleeding-heartss.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Same here, i initially assumed he was disassociating, but the implications of this little movement suggest something worse. Either way, it's hard to deny the fact he was raped.

Blake 🖤✨ @bleeding-heartss.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Granted, she could just be a hypocrite and have cheated as well, but the way Stolas immediately covers his drink as soon as she approaches tells me that being drugged probably wasn't a one time thing.

2256

Blake 🖤✨ @bleeding-heartss.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

If Stolas wasn't just laying there, accepting that he has to have a child eventually, what if he was so out of it he physically couldn't do anything but lay there? And Stella, assuming she is allosexual and has a sex drive, i find it difficult to imagine she just hasn't had sex for the last 17 years

1244

Blake 🖤✨ @bleeding-heartss.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Stella is an unreliable narrator and the type of person to make herself look better than she is. When she tells her friends that Stolas just stares at the wall, that's getting close to saying she forced herself on him. How is that supposed to make her look better? It does if the real story is worse.

1275

Blake 🖤✨ @bleeding-heartss.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

been thinking about this a lot recently. First, the simple fact that Stolas covering the glass is animated tells me that it's something to pay attention to. They could have had him raise his hand to defend himself if they really wanted to animate that hand, but they make him cover his drink instead.

I absolutely love the idea of imps having horn accessories, like the hoops barbie wears in that one pride artwork, and i'm trying to give blitz some jewellery but i'm just laying chains on his horns and it looks dumb and like they're gonna slip off at any moment 😭

this is very likely me looking way too into things that probably don't actually mean anything but. the way Stolas instinctively covers his drink around Stella,, she wouldn't, right?
