i just finished Hunger’s Bite and my god, what a lovely and horrifying book. well done @taylor-robin.bsky.social im excited for a sequel whenever that comes out!!! bonus photo of one of my favorite pages!! love how the vent winds thru both pages

a bat wanders through some vents, looking out some grating to see first class passengers having a grand ol’ time. while the staff of the ship are working themselves to the bone.

a long red pepper (cayenne??) naturally curled up in the cutest little pose. its stem looks like a green nose. its even got a tiny curl in its tail going the opposite direction????? he is inexplicably perfect in every way

theres a whole gaggle of woopers in the background behind him but they’re just being supportive

it’s wooper wednesday!!

the users pokemon johto wooper merch collection, surrounded by silly wooper doodles

part of it is cordoned off, showing which ones are custom made/unofficial merch.

customs: a flat foam wooper in a cape i got over 15 years ago! a clay figure in a cape that i got at around the same time! an acrylic standee from maizilla, a hand sewn felt keychain, a wooden keychain where he wears a cape, another acrylic keychain with a skateboard. a bunch of the official merch sits on a starsalts deskmat.

and most importantly: my hand sculpted surfing wooper statue on a sitrus berry themed surfboard.

there’s a gaggle of pins superimposed in the empty space above the rest of the collection, from artists including porterillustrations and weishi

official merch includes: re:ment figures with oddish and ditto, the little daydreams collection where he is so soft and has a tiny quagsire, the fit plush, a couple of banpresto ufo prizes including one thats so big and fuzzy textured, the really old one that turns into a pokeball, slippers???? yes they are cozy, a shiny wooper card i got in a gift exchange, a sleepy flocked figure, and my bandai kids collection.

yes i have nine sons of the same exact figure, yes i plan on getting more.

my old cat was significantly less impressed with her citrus-ing 🤣 happy for sophie despite her allergies!!

tazo the cat with the same orange themed cone/collar the fluffy beautiful sophie is wearing, but tazo’s silly little white leg has forced its way thru the hole where her neck also is.

she is stanced up and staring at the viewer as if to ask “who could have done this to me, a perfect baby? remove the offending citrus, human.”

the bobo sits on a little cafe chair, and a cake the size of his head sits on the round cafe table in front of him!!!! surely he is excited by this. (okay technically it’s a lemon wafer square but lets suspend our disbelief okay)
