Great study case! Your flow, prototypes and mock ups look 🤘🏾 I would recommend putting your over view first rather then your intro. Introduction could be edited to be more concise. Your over view sums up the problem, goals and your intent better than the introduction.

Who thinks Figma will actually go after Lovable in court? Even though they technically own the trademark for Dev Mode, could they actually enforce this? Reminds me of when Momofuku tried doing the same thing with “Chili Crisp” “Chili Crunch” nonsense.

I don’t mind it, it’s like making fun of people who use Canva to design stuff. There’s nothing wrong with Canva, but I think there’s some snobbery there. Vibe coding is the same way. I don’t code well, still learning. But I don’t mind people using tools to help what they need done faster.

I totally get you wanting to use the logo design color scheme into the overall design. Since your logo has a very bold color design already, having the background just one color will make it stand out more without it distracting the eye. 👍

Blue Dark. The red one isn’t really drawing me in. It might be from how much darker the blues and reds look next to each other. I particularly like it better if it’s just one color for the background instead of two.

Just got introduced to Tempo, Cursor and Bolt. Going to experiment with these new AI tools to help with designing apps and web extensions. I know a little coding, but with these new tools, I can make small apps to hone my UX skills. Let me know what your thoughts are!

Hi! There are definitely an endless amount to choose from, but when I was doing some work for a EdTech company, their whole vibe was very utilitarian. So I found some well known design systems that might fit it, eventually choosing IBMs Carbon Design System. What kind of game is it?

👏👏👏👏👏 it never ceases to amaze me on how giving the UX field can be. One of the reason I pivoted out of my old career in hospitality into UX. My journey is just starting( looking for junior roles, networking, getting projects, etc) but I would like to do the same one day and give back.

For a junior/inexperienced designer like me, definitely both. But each company has their own needs and trying to figure out how to tailor your portfolio to engage with that particular company is the hardest part, at least for me.

It’s a question I ask myself that a lot as I’m in the process of looking for a junior role. Everyone inly wants to hire senior UX designers rn. But the amount of senior to available open roles is pretty large from my job search. I think it’s just people being pushed to do more with less resource.
