fun fact: she's the shortest member of the team, standing at 1.14 meters. which is short even for a dwarf.

i thought "rook" is a cool name for a dwarf and i had a cncept for a dwarf character i wanted to use, so originally went with rooka. but that felt too on the nose, so changed it to rukah.

looking forward to it! you had a hat eating a child in a kids show, i am very excited about what your brilliant mind can do in an adult show unrestricted by S&P.

so the reason we're getting so many awesome shows next month is because the universe hates you?

030

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

oh, forgot lethrias. he wouldn't hate having magic but it's unlikely he would use it either.

000

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

#daOCqotd loopie (rogue) - he would think it's cool he has magic now. likely try to focus on healing. julia (mage) - she'd miss the usefulness of her magic, but she knows melee combat, so she'll be fine (she once killed a bunch of templars after they drained her of her mana) rukah (dwarf) - nope.

manolo was rukah's training instructor within the crows, so he stands at a mentor capacity. she's definitely a mentor jacobus.

there's a linit on how much better the graphics can get, so eventually we will reach a cap and the technology will match to be cost effective for good looking games. when that happens, hopefully devs will be allowed to focus more on making performance better.

literally so many games in my library that i haven't played yet because i keep replaying old games. and that's not accounting for the fact there are so many games that are AI free that i haven't even buy yet. i think we're pretty okay without ever touching a game made with AI.

i don't like superman as a character, never clicked for me. this show made a version of superman i actually like. this is how good it is.

liara and alaina? oh, hell yeah! shelly didn't romance anyone but she would definitely flirt too.

000

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

mods definitely make the experience better, but i have played it back in 2011 without mods and it was very much enjoyable back then too.

000

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

shelly - excitement. i mean, for her it's just a job title, she's an alliance soldier first. but she's serving the whole galaxy and will do so with honour as she has done anything else.

000

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

alaina - honour at first, burden later. what was a great step for humanity that she gets to herald became a political tool at the end of others. she was tired of being a tool and by the second game couldn't give a shit about the title. but if she can use the resources to get the job done, she will.

121

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

well, i did. my second warden, shelly was my shepard. she romanced no one, because non of the squad mates were her type, romantically.

000

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

alaina collects model ships, so kinda like in the trilogy, but it's the ones you actually build yourself with glue and shit. so it's its own activity. shelly likes video games and board games. she's very competitive, but the kind that htpes everyone up and both loses and wins gracefully.

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

??? it's not some sort of contradiction? it's a non spoiler question, i can wait and see if he doesn't give the answer, but i'm not sure what's the problem with the question.

000

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

that's amazing, looking forward to seeing the story unfold. one question: seam said the secret boss of chapter 5 is the last one, can you confirm that chapter 6 indeed won't have a secret boss?

100

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

obviously he shouldn't have faced any of that. like, the ending is terrible and does feel like an insult to the viewers, but at the end of the day it's just a fictional show, nothing that's wirth physically (or verbally) fighting the creator over.

000

blaze @blazypika2.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

i loved the prisoner. hate the ending. way to spit in the face of the viewers.
