Ultimately, the full band set up felt like it needed to be mixed better? I often couldn't hear the vocalist. Or I couldn't hear an instrument that was getting a solo.

It was still great but it was obviously the second show of the tour and they had a lot of kinks to iron out. A couple of technical difficulties. A couple of info flubs. Nothing terrible.

As someone who has gone to the Sonic Symphony (3x), a regular attendee to @sonicexpo.bsky.social, and working directly with @tjdavis.bsky.social. I guess I'm just a bit spoiled? Or biased? But the performances were just a bit underwhelming.

Quick review of Sonic Live: Overall? 8/10 As with any Sonic event, the community always shows up and is filled with joy. And if this was your first Sonic show, it was a great starting point. As a long time fan, they really killed with with the deep cuts and excellent curation.

Today was a good day. We hiked 13.5 miles today. 27000 steps. 3900 elevation gain. My dogs are beat. But Izzy and I made it to the sub dome of Half Dome.

Izzy and I had plans to go to Whidbey Island to meet up with our friend. We ate oysters. Had our tarot read. I got to ride the ferry for the first time. And I even got to see the ISS fly over us as we rode the ferry back home. 10/10 weekend.

That night, I decided I hadn't done enough exercise so I headed out to the club. Pretty sure I met god on the dance floor. No biggie. Came home at 6AM to watch the most beautiful sunrise of my life rise over the cascade mountains. This is the only pic I got when I got home.

My bestie and I could not have planned for a better day to go to Mt. Rainier. It was our first time and it felt magical. My only regret was not owning a pair of skis to come down on. The powder was perfectly fresh.
