hard to believe it’s been 3 years since I put out my ep! I think the title track still holds up really well. there are choices I would make differently now, but hopefully thats good news for my future work On Bandcamp and streaming: blasz.bandcamp.com/album/hazel-...

new (to me) guitar, new strings, and new tuning for this one. I got the strings mostly for the bit, but they feel and sound great too

7-string skinny top, heavy bottom,, really bert-and-ernie-coded,, big cucumber-tomato energy,, me n boyf feeling very seen,,

lil tape recording of some hozier. I’ve been in love with his more pared-down songs for the past while, especially this one.

I'm so excited to take this thing hiking, despite the fact that it's a big, heavy chunk of aluminum and glass. many more critters will be spotted and recorded.

a wood duck swimming through marshy waters

the colours and textures are so tasty, and these are straight from the camera. it's a Zenit E, made in the USSR, and is 2-3 times my age. the artifacts are all part of the charm, and why I wanted to get into film in the first place.

an orange cat in a sunlit window. the film was prematurely exposed on one side.

@peppertomb.bsky.social got me a film camera for christmas, and I'm already obsessed. there's so much more process to setting up and taking each picture, and it adds a very fun challenge to our usual bird outings.
