This one stings. Rockies led Game 3 from the first inning… Two outs in the 9th… Then a walk-off homer ends the sweep. 0-3 to start the year. All by one run. The Opening Series review.

Rockies swept by Marlins: A Recap
The Colorado Rockies opened the 2026 season with a frustrating three-game sweep at the hands of the Miami Marlins, dropping all contests by one run. Despite competitive pitching and early leads in two games, Colorado struggled to deliver in key moments, going just 3-for-20 with runners in scoring position. Late-game execution and offensive inconsistency proved costly, sending the Rockies to Toronto at 0-3 with significant questions to answer.

Hitting the Over: Statistical Hopes for the 2026 Rockies
March 23, 2026 | @TyPaddor I'll save you all (and myself) the usual preface about the Rockies and their dreadful 2025 season. We have since seen several new seasoned leaders added to the front office and strong signs out of Spring Training. The Rockies actually seem to be looking forward. Last season set the bar very low in a lot of statistical categories, and if the club wants to set a new narrative for the future, they'll need to blow through some of the 2025 marks.

For Chase Dollander, Belief Starts With the Work
March 22, 2026 | Eli Whitney Chase Dollander’s confidence isn’t an accident. Ask him about it, and he’ll correct the premise before you finish the question. The “I know I’m the best” line that has circulated through Rockies camp this week wasn’t a declaration of superiority – it was a description of process. Dollander has spent years figuring out what puts him in the right headspace to compete, and talking himself up happens to be part of it.
