Yesterday was my birthday & it’s absolutely AWESOME to be a year older! Today one of my fave peeps at Colorectal Cancer Alliance sent me this from AllyCon, which I couldn’t attend this year in Miami. I REALLY mean it when I said that feeling seen made all the difference for me on my cancer journey!

Reported the OP as it appears to be a fake profile & its only “follower” has thousands of followers so “hmm”. Cancer patients are vulnerable & want to live. Telling them to buy an “oil” on your Facebook page & that it “cured” cancer is disgusting & can literally cost a vulnerable person their life.

Me teaching #yoga (online for social distancing) a few weeks prior to my Stage IV cancer dx in Feb ‘21. “You don’t look sick” You really can’t even notice my many tumors (1 of my ovarian tumors was the size of a grapefruit). I was at that time struggling with #pranayama.(#breathwork). /

There is a HUGE difference between “alternative” therapies & INTEGRATIVE therapies. I’m a yogini, yoga teacher, & I do practice Ayurveda. AND the only way I am now alive & currently NED* post Stage IV Cancer is because I made it through 12 rounds of full throttle chemo (no reductions but 2 delays)/
