I've always wanted to read Doc Savage Fortress of Solitude. I'm up to it now on my reading of them in published order, book #68.

It's too bad nobody's invented mini speakers for your ears so you wouldn't have to listen to competing cell phone you tube videos at the airport....

Not to reveal any spoilers about the Spider-Man trailer, but I guess Marvel decided that the world isn't ready for a Spider-Mobile in the MCU yet. Maybe they'll save that for a Marvel Team-Up movie of Spidey and the Human Torch since they built it together.

And the services knocked out by the fibre cuts that happen. It's hard to police given they're usually hitting areas hidden in trees. Or if in the open, they can pretty much see anything that's happening. The copper doesn't stay in the area either.

This is so annoying. And it's only causing our costs to go up. And someone should give CBC a map. I would not say these communities are Southwest New Brunswick. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

I'm flying to Vancouver next week, booked a couple days ago and it wasn't much more than that. Weekends are always higher priced.

I'm on a Facebook break again, so I'll take your word for it. That's very odd, research funds are usually restrictive.

We're really enjoying the series. The book is better of course, but it is a great adaptation!

Overall it felt like Marvel is back on track again. I would've liked Galactus to have been a bit more of a threat. Hopefully they bring him back.

Saw Fantastic 4 tonight. It was .... Fantastic! One of the best marvel films in a while for sure! Although the Thunderbolts* after-credit scene didn't pay off, yet.

I am reading them in publication order, in-between other books I'm reading. Some are rereading them, as I read a bunch in the 80's in junior high and high school. I read His Apocalyptic Life in the 80's as well. I'm saving that read for when I'm finished the series.

Nothing like the sound of an old lawn mower that would wake the dead just after work when you're relaxing on the deck from your retired neighbor who has all day to mow...
