Wanted to some runs last night, set up my console at my new apartment and for some reason my svideo output wasn't working. Took it apart, looked fine, realized I forgot to test a different cable first. With it still apart I popped the expansion pak in and tried it again. It was backwards, N64 dead.

Ok best solution for me has been found. I don't really care that much about actually capturing the RGB, so the plan was to split RGB and convert one end to svideo to run to my capture card. I then realized I can just hard wire svideo to the console and still run a seperate video out. I'm a genius.

I was retiming a run out of boredom, and I found out that my amarec recording is 2 seconds faster than my twitch vod (twitch is correct, autosplitter matches it perfectly) anyone have any ideas as to what might cause that?kinda defeats the purpose of local recording. both are 30fps

Ok this works pretty good, just need to lengthen the plugs in the buttons to make the travel longer and throw this in my good controller. I'm still using rubber for the c buttons cause they don't get worn very quick and it's not worth the time tbh

I got a micro switch to fit in my controller, far from perfect right now but this at least proves that I can make it work. I stole this switch out of an old router, I may order some better ones and try to get this working well enough to use it permanently
