Today's shiny haul so far. Peewee and Petey were from yesterday, but I forgot to post them. Ukiki is a "gift" hunt to the person it's named after, namely my friend Nixcelpix, who used to be Pokéngine's number one shiny hunter!

One more (?) for tonight! I'm currently also hunting Ukiki in World 5-1 for a friend, but I'm starting to feel sleepy so I may not finish tonight. Also I lost a shiny Handfake. It was Illusion-disguised as a regular one and I fell for it, attacking it first, only to be met with its demise. 😭

Sir Borgus was found completely on accident as a shiny Minion (Hisstocrat's prevo) while setting up for a Pokey hunt...and I needed the male Hisstocrat anyway. Just need the female form now, since I'm not evolving the gift shiny Minion (also male)!

Today's Mariomon shiny haul! Working on Skeeter and Scuttlebug now, but no luck after 200 encounters, and I'm already out of PP-restoring supplies... Credit to @grunesdragon.bsky.social for suggesting a randomly-chosen Fairy type line! Will update after shiny Skeeter and Scuttlebug are captured!

I thought Shithead was my last shiny tonight. That was not the case. I almost ran out of PP on ALL my captures while hunting this freak. I know you can buy Ultra and Max Syrups (both types of Elixirs) in the Shiny Galaxy, but I'm poor in-game. Sue me.

Being misgendered in my own server kind of put a damper on my mood. That and other factors left me grumpy, so I named this one Shithead. It's also because I'm really not a fan of Fuzzies in Mario games (I had a Gold Fuzzy OC in one story I wrote, but that's about it).

He wasn't that bad, actually. I did reset over his shiny once, and had quite a few cases where I *thought* he spawned shiny, but didn't, but overall? Not bad. Not going for Sonic or Tiptron just yet, though! Going to get some non-legendary/non-mythical captures first!

Y'know...actually, that wasn't too bad. Didn't reset over it. Didn't need to leave and reenter to ensure new seeds (and if I had to, it's easy to get back to the lair, unlike that of Gloomtail's!). ALL THREE TTYD DRAGONS (CAUGHT SHINY)...COMPLETE!

TTYD Dragons time! Already caught shiny Hooktail, this time with only one window open. It turns out, you can just...defeat or run away from the capture and it'll respawn. I did not know that...but this makes things MUCH simpler now that I do!

Update 2: UMMMMMM Did...did I misunderstand the method, or did I just spawn eight shiny Exor instances at once? Either way, I caught one of them in a Football Cap (Quick Ball), but this is decidedly not how I thought the shiny hunting method in Mariomon worked.

In order to get the shiny charm, I'll need to to get the Tattledex completed (minus the "Mew" of the game). In order to do THAT, I need to shiny hunt the legends so they count towards the Tattledex while also being shiny. Starting with Exor here with six different windows, all mostly synchronized!

The Shiny Galaxy has been kind to me. May attempt a shiny living dex, we'll see. I actually got this gal last night, but was too tired to post about it.

I beat Mariomon! This was my team, and it felt great to use each and every one of these captures. I know people say Mariomon is silly and simple, but I don't know...something about it feels special to me. Probably my favorite GBA hack now!

Google AI (and AI in general) is so bad and unwanted that it can't even format bold (and presumably italic) words correctly. Check out the bottom entry from when I was looking for alliterative condiment names for a meme!

A list from Google's shitty AI of condiments that I did not ask for but received anyway. The final entry "Salsa" has failed bold text asterisks for its entry, with one side of the word having four of them and the other side having two.
