The biggest disappointment of the season (besides getting eliminated in the ALDS): #GiancarloStanton. Love the guy. He’s a powerful hitter (the sound his bat makes when he hits a homer…WOW). But he’s ALWAYS injured and gone for most of the season. What’s the point of keeping him? #NewYorkYankees

I don’t know how to feel about #JazzChisholmJr. I like him, but I also think his attitude can be erratic. W/c, to me, makes him unreliable. As good as he is on second base, he’s been playing it too nonchalantly at times. He did not have a great ‘26 season and I think he wants out. #NewYorkYankees

#TrentGrisham is an excellent centerfielder. Besides Harrison Bader, Grisham made playing the position look easy. But he did not have a good 2026 season offensively. I think he’s gone next year. Maybe Goldschmidt, too (Luis Garcia has been playing great as first baseman).

Would #AaronJudge have been a big help to the #NewYorkYankees offense in the postseason if he had just gone through the normal process of doing rehab in the Minors after he got injured instead of skipping it and re-injuring himself? We’ll never know. But I’m sure he’s learned a big lesson.

Before #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds (current fave), I thought #StarTrekVoyager was the best of all the Trek shows. Am on a “Trek mood”. Watched the docuseries “Center Seat II: 60 Years of Star Trek”, then an episode of TNG and DS9, and right now Voyager (S01E07 “Eye of the Needle”).
