Which means of course when Liera sees mages recovering from working with aether she's like hey you didn't flicker right. And just gets glared at

000

alan @bladesurgence.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

Very little basis for this besides louisoix/papalymo but I was just writing about mages sometimes "flickering" which means they can lose most/all of their power if they exert themselves too hard. But nonmages aren't supposed to bring it up because its a sensitive topic

I knew of it since Marth and Roy were in Melee, but I didn't play one until Radiant Dawn. Both Tellius games are my favorites but Genealogy is incredible. I love Ayra

If Liera thinks she's the problem, she'll remove herself from the situation. Because the Calamity basically ruined her home, she's always been an outsider looking in. If she thinks that her existence is ruining the natural balance, she'll quietly remove herself and find somewhere else to go.

Selin is probably the most morally grey of my OCs. She looks like she means well but she leaves things to fate instead of doing things based on her moral code

010

alan @bladesurgence.bsky.social · 27/03/2025

Liers ghosted her friends for months and hung out with Zephirin who she took captive for months. Other than that she's pretty good. Most of the company start out with negative traits and get better (Minji is inexperienced, Kirino disdains other cultures, Zaryn has a savior complex).

110

alan @bladesurgence.bsky.social · 26/03/2025

I recommend Elayne and Aviendha from wheel of time but that takes like 7 books

010

alan @bladesurgence.bsky.social · 25/03/2025

It's hard especially the more unhinged an OC is. I typically write the weirder things I want for myself and if I want to be a normie I can set myself like a cryptid and be approached by people in game

Quick to pass judgment, distrustful, selfish. If she doesn't want to do something, she tends to push it on one of her companions. This is usually in the context of agreeing that people in need should be helped, but she won't often provide that help herself.
