only in source engine do you have an entire map be fixed by selecting and moving everything by a pixel. no, i'm not joking.

over 55 minutes' worth of frames have been rendered so far. still got a long way to go but it's getting there, bit by bit!

it's done. now it's time to put the thing together.

i'm near the end, episode 7 truly is the biggest adventure i've ever had. so many records broken: longest duration in a single save; biggest save file size; an ever growing amount of crashes; total voice acting duration; and probably the biggest video i've ever done. oh boy.

alright, this is the final result - a 1.05GB sized save of ONE part of 7. a brand new save just for what was missing of the last part. a new record! now its time to optimize it. optimize your animations guys - SFM, your PC's HDD/SDD, the save, and your mental health will thank you for it.

the closer i get to the end, the more i appreciate masks that cover someone's mouth so I don't have to lipsync them. i'm getting indoctrinated by Pyro mains over here. and speaking of Pyros...that's what the last two parts will feature... ...huh. ...do they know?

Blackimus @blackimus.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

progression advances, three parts remain. it's close. not gonna be a cakewalk to the end tho.

this is terrifyingly impressive.

feels odd to be back to the quiet night in the surface after spending a month or so animating in a purple gloomy underworld. it's like i got spat out of an underground prison. quite the immersion!

(fluff) here's another new year's resolution: Bisharp finally gets added to Cobblemon. i love your mod, devs. i really do. but for god's sake just do this and my life is yours.

2025 was crap on average and ok at best for me, so here's to a better year! hopefully. the new year's resolution for 2026 Blackimus: one ep for each series, or just getting EP7 out the door. that's already a win for me. yeah, that's it. let's see if it happens lol.

forgot to share a spoilerless teaser, my bad. i'm a professional. Credit: @thefarinz.bsky.social for his blessing in using his map for Last Mann Standing; @lolripk.bsky.social for doing most of the scenebuilding, sparing me a couple of trips to a brick wall and the nearest window.

ok now I can talk about it: EP7 is 38 minutes long rn, and I finally reached the cultist part. things will get interesting from here. i can't really say this accurately, but i'd say the vid's hit the 50% mark, at least script wise. progress COULD be faster, but idk. 👁️ PRAISE BE TO THE ALL-SEEING 👁️

Blackimus @blackimus.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

i've been a bit quiet about EP7 development, but that's just because i'm focused on finishing this one part before i post. i'll talk about its progress very soon, as I'm getting close to finishing it. btw, expect this episode to be at least 1h long. yeah.

i just wanted to say: thank you to everyone who's been enjoying everything and anything Blackimus related. TSU, SoL, Capsters, whatever. I appreciate you a lot, and I'll always be humble and extremely grateful for everything. don't worry, nothing bad happened. i just wanted to say that. peace!

Blackimus @blackimus.bsky.social · 05/11/2025

Acoleyet fans, if you like unredeemable villains who are true pieces of shit while having great personality, you'll feast with EP7. not as much as KIA fans, but you'll get 2nd place. dunno who's gonna be on the 3rd spot tho. maybe the new guy?

found this on Reddit, could be useful for you guys. (I am not affiliated with this)

i find it funny how some fans think Foster is a cutie patootie who wouldn't harm a fly when he could literally make an entire platoon of soldiers explode into red mist with a flick of the wrist if he wanted to. the guy just has the patience of a god and great self control.

Blackimus @blackimus.bsky.social · 13/09/2025

So, I woke up, and for some reason I had a really really good way to improve SoL's EP8. I initially just wanted Vixen to be the one given the big spotlight, but I've changed my mind. A lot of other characters will shine as well, you'll learn about their past. tl;dr - lore nuke.

Blackimus @blackimus.bsky.social · 12/09/2025

So, 2 years ago, I made a post on Twitter saying that I had made a new record of 9 minutes in a single save, back with EP6 Part 2. Yeah, it's worse now. You guys owe me therapy.

Find the bright greenie on the blackness, thats the 10 minutes, the 57 seconds and the 400 miliseconderios. Approx. 11 minutos of peak.

080

Blackimus @blackimus.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

Adding more to this: Slice of Life is where my voice acting shines waaaay better than Scratched Universe. If you ever thought my va'ing in TSU was good, just see SoL - it'll blow your mind. I voice Chica and WILLIAM AFTON ffs. The William Afton impression is still my biggest accomplishment lmao

030

Blackimus @blackimus.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

Lately, I felt like rewatching Slice of Life, see what I've cooked all this time. Still very proud, still love it all, still funny. Except EP1, that one's just cringe. Always was. EP6 remains as the best one. Need more Minireena, Ennard, Damocles, Redemption Form and William Spring stuff.

050

Blackimus @blackimus.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

I turn it off. I get a pop up asking me why I turned it off. I picked the option. They ask me why I picked that option. "I don't want to use it." "Thank you for your feedback!" Amazing.
