this blackgate jack fanart is so good, wish I could repost it here directly but the artist didn't cross post it to bsky :( also the artist hasn't posted in some time which is a little sad, i hope they're doing well

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I should probably make an accessible download for the latest build since all of the patreon ones are dead, but eh iirc someone uploaded one on internet archive anyway

sorry, this is on Alin's route and he's the one speaking haha

my idea for blackgate merch is making a miniature figurine of alin and shoving him in one of those water mice

shit alin and vincent would do to each other:

Alin's second scene is a close second, how did DG draw his thighs so perfectly powerful

130

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

on the flip side, this one's my favorite sex scene. The CG is beautiful in color + detail, and even if I had to stare at plox's ugly mug for most of the route, leraje is 🔥🔥🔥

Fur the More 2017 panel transcript: This one is publicly available but who knows when the patreon might vanish, so I'm posting it here anyway.

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I assume Vekk wouldn't notice because he was kind of glitching out that night if I remember right.

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I don't think last-landing has a similar creature to the eternal, considering Charlie states that they'd need another source for edgeless stones if the Eternal goes kaput.

110

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Do the Watchers listen to the Chosen directly? I don't think I saw that detail, but if it was in Crome's or Eterni's route I probably didn't pay attention.

110

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

yeahhh, I found out about it when I found his e621 page. Very disappointing. bsky.app/profile/blac...

Blackgate Anthrocon 2017 full transcript:

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Yeah, it's behind a subscription tier, but I have the document so I'll upload the full thing in pictures

020

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

oh yeah! this might be the transcript of the one you went to, it's from 2017 kind of wish the alin suiter stuck around at cons even after blackgate's decline, but it's understandable that decided not to

120

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

operating under the assumption that charlie's earlier explanation for why he can't bring him back to earth was bullshit, because how would bringing him to last landing be any different

110

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

charlie's confrontation scene in jack's route should've had an option for the MC to go back home instead of the one for last-landing. then it would lead to a bad ending where he's forever haunted by the knowledge that somewhere, out there, he let a lot of people die for him to get back home.

110

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Did you know Blackgate did have another writer, albeit for an extremely brief stint? Ivy, who you can see credited in the opening, wrote some of the detailed books in the game

010

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

has lots of cub porn with him, which for me makes it weird and uncomfortable to revisit his route with that outside knowledge.

100

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

imo Krane was definitely Bane's favorite (writing seemed a lot more polished, large choice that split the route and didn't immediately result in a "to be continued", three different sex scene CGs) Malo was one of my favorites until I learned the OCs creator--

100

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

also the added plot point about the MC constantly creating alternate timelines to the point where vekk needs to intervene and cull them out really adds to the difficulty of making a good ending, because what happens when vekk isn't there to do that

010

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

I don't really see any ending with Blackgate surviving tbh. But I guess we'll never know anyway.

020

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

So I can only imagine two endings: (1) The chosen fuck off and let blackgate rot, leaving the townspeople to starve among other things (2) They send everyone back, possibly sending the MC with their route partner. They'd have to have that translation spell with them or something.

130

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

That being said it wouldn't be unlikely that the chosen would send everyone away from Blackgate because they want nothing in the way so they can harvest edgeless stones themselves.

110

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

blackgate anymore because he'll either be pissed off at what the MC did or most likely dealing with the aftermath of the chosen wreaking havoc on the universe. also if the eternal is gone then the chosen might nab up all the edgeless stones in blackgate since they no longer have a threat to fear--

110

Blackgate VN @blackgatevn.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

trying to imagine an ending for blackgate is hard because: if the eternal is defeated, the chosen aren't trapped there and probably don't give a shit about life forms they deem lesser than them, so they'll fuck off and presumably let blackgate rot charlie more than likely won't trade with--
