Unfortunately the CEO of Brave has donated money towards preventing same sex marriage in California. I use Firefox mobile with the ublock origin addon and I have no ads.

Am forklift driver, can confirm having forklift experience is a great way to get bumped up to a higher pay bracket in a warehouse job. Though most job openings are full time, and it comes with breathing some amount of warehouse dust 😅

Just a few of many old favorites.

Idk why I made this. My birdfeeder snapped this pic of a grackle last year and I just went with it.

Reference pic for the previous illustration. A Birdbuddy photo of a Common Grackle staring directly into the camera with his beak pointed upward and slightly open with lens blur.

Some art for my longtime dear friend, @nushaa.bsky.social! Was great to draw gryphons again! 😃

Hey if you find a good one for people with giant tits let me know 👀 So far I have tried Spectrum Outfitters and Wivov binders with mixed results. A lot of folks say combining trans tape with binders helps a bit more.

One of them is this fucking guy working hard ripping paneling off of our house that we now have to repair.

Seven weeks left til Halloween AKA my bird suit deadline and I feel like I am so very behind schedule in building my crow boi, despite starting work on it in July. A couple of unrelated setbacks are threatening to delay this project severely and it's driving me nuts.

Here is Pollux, the Cosmic Crow I'm making the birdsuit in likeness. His tail is the arm of a galaxy and his wings are nebulae. I used the Carina Nebula as reference for his wings here, but any nebula is fine.

On a background of twilight sunset there is a happy crow in the center with wings spread, flight feathers colored like the Carina Nebula, scattered with stars. Tail feathers depict an arm of the Milky Way also pockmarked with glowing stars. His eyes glow an aquamarine and he has small aquamarine markings on his beak. OC is Pollux and created by/belongs to Blackfeathr.

Dream OCs are so fun. Years ago I dreamt of a mechanical/steampunk rat that I'm still trying to master rendering to his full glory 😆 Can't wait to see what you got if you choose to share it with us ^^

My partner and I are making my partial birdsuit this year, a cosmic crow with a galaxy tail and nebula wings ~ We got the tail done this past weekend! Pattern is from @mugiwaracosplay.bsky.social!

I had a bizarre discussion with someone on there who said that all children up to middle school age do not have the mental ability to grasp that it's a different season in the southern/northern hemispheres. Reddit is full of... interesting characters.

I don't really consider it a tell since so many human writers use it. What I do consider tells is copious use of the phrase "It's not X, it's Y" written in ways that don't make literary sense.

Yeah, I was considering slopper because they consider themselves an AI "artist." Though I've also seen clanker used for both AI bots and those who can't seem to survive without AI.

I was responding that the ad saying you couldn't use ad blocking was a load of BS, not at you personally. You can also block ads at the DNS level, but that requires some hardware and knowledge that I haven't yet dug into (but I plan to someday, lol)

100

Blackfeathr @blackfeathr.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

I was talking from the context of browser-based ad blocking, I don't really bother with the youtube mobile app. I just access YouTube through mobile/PC browser, perhaps that is where the misunderstanding happened. It wasn't my intention to come across as a know it all.

100

Blackfeathr @blackfeathr.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Bahaha what a load of BS, you can block a great majority of ads with like two browser plugins. The only ones that can't really be blocked are ads on Twitch because it's baked into the stream. Simple solution: I don't use or watch Twitch. 😊

If you are able, Firefox with the uBlock Origin plugin works wonders. I haven't seen an ad on YouTube on my own devices in years. Works wonders for my mental health because ads fill me with such a pure and burning hatred lol.

Well, it finally happened. Reddit invalidated my API key so Infinity, the 3rd party app I've been using for four years, no longer works. That's one way to get me to quit reddit cold turkey. Hopefully Lemmy gets more popular.
